After I mentioned Draken's name, Pandora looked up annoyed. The girl then suddenly threw herself onto the ground.
Just then, two guys enter. Pandora immediately jumps up. "How could you!? You just got a chance to redeem yourself, and you're already bulling others???"
"How fake of you to only say that now." I rolled my eyes.
"Rose. Why are you here?" The taller of the two asked.
"Draken invited me," I replied honestly.
"Like hell he did. Why would he do that? You're here just to cause trouble, aren't you? You were going to make trouble while Draken wasn't here and then play the victim, right? You might have been able to manipulate him, but you can't manipulate me!" The shorter one yelled.
"What are you going to do? Hit me?" I asked, looking at the heated boys in front of me.
"No, that would be what you want, right? Then you'd go around saying I bullied you." The shorter one scoffed.
"Wow. Well, you're not wrong. But I'd word it more like 'he hit me without first understanding the situation', yeah." I commented.
The taller one asked, "What is there to comprehend? It is obvious that you were bullying Zara."
"Zara, you say? Zara, get off your ass and stop acting. I slapped you. I didn't kick you to the ground."
"I'm not acting! Why would you do this to me? What did I do? Your large heavy hands and my frail petite body, what did you expect to happen?"
"A handprint on your cheek. I definitely didn't expect you to throw yourself onto the ground the moment a witness became involved. Do you suddenly become weak when people are around because the girl I was talking to before definitely wasn't whatever the hell this is."
"Please stop. That's not what Zara is like. I think you should leave." The taller boy said seriously while pointing at the door.
"I disagree. The little wench needs to apologize." I needed at least that much first.
"For what?" She asked, pretending to be clueless and pitiful.
"Insulting the wonderful staff that works here and being extremely disrespectful!" I answered.
"Now you're just making stuff up. Why would she do any of that?" The shorter boy asked.
"I'd love to hear your answer." She added.
"Then listen well because you're an entitled brat that jumped at a chance to exert her influence and act up without consequences because I already have a bad reputation. It didn't matter whether you were caught or not. Because you could always play innocent and no one would believe me. I would have no choice but to apologize and accept the truth you made up. But that's where you're wrong. I won't apologize for things I never did any more. I won't lie down and let entitled bitches like you walk all over me, either."
"Come on. That is impossible. I think you're merely looking for attention, since your true motives were revealed to the world and no one is taking your side any more." The taller one stated trying to remain calm, but I could tell he had grown more upset after I insulted Zara.
But that doesn't mean I can let what he said go, "Do you think I'm an attention-whore or something? Not everything I do revolves around wanting attention. And I don't need people on my side. However, I hate being lied about, so if you're going to hate me, hate me for me. Not because of lies that were plastered everywhere."
"What does that have to do with me getting drinks poured all over me and getting slapped?" Zara asked in a pitiful voice.
"I told you. It's because you were rude." I looked at her with disgust.
"Why would gardenia's sweetheart ever do such a thing?" Pandora asked.
"It's obvious that Rose is just trying to lie her way out of things, like usual." The shorter boy commented.
"You're no better than Miss two-face, Pandora. You were there the whole time, but only decided to interfere when those two showed up." I said while pointing at the boys.
"I was distracted."
"But you still have ears to know when to look up, don't you?" I was letting her know that I knew exactly why she looked up then.
She looked furious. "I just didn't want to interfere and get bullied too. So pretended to be distracted and chose to interfere when I heard the boys entering."
"Oh? What a decent excuse. Since you were only pretending, care to share what really happened?" I smirked. It was about time I showed my thorns and pierced anyone who recklessly tried to pluck me. 'From now on, no one will simply get away with dragging me down any longer. Not even a failed attempt will be forgiven easily. There's no one to stop me, since my sister can't interfere with my life right now. I'm free to do what I want.' At that moment, I made a promise to myself.
"She thought you were a server, then you started being rude to her. I bet she didn't even know who you were at the time. You may be famous, but not everyone knows your face. You were rude to her for no reason at all."
"Did you expect everyone to know who you are? How much more entitled can you get?" The shorter boy commented.
"Ooh, that's pretty believable. If only she didn't ask for my autograph or said specific insults targeted towards me, you might have got away with that story. You're good at twisting the truth, do you do it often? What am I saying? For such a level of talent, you must do it all the time!"
"What the hell are you saying?" The taller boy seemed fed up with me.
I was tired of arguing, too. "… You guys do realize that the building is currently a set, right?"
"What?" Everyone seemed confused.
"It means that there is both video and audio evidence of what really happened. Framing me in a place of work was your first mistake, Zara. The second was pissing me off. So stop lying. They might believe you now, but at the end of the day, I'm the one with real evidence."
"Well, if you have never done anything wrong, people would never be able to frame you like this."
"That is not true, Pandora. I have never done anything wrong, yet many people have succeeded in framing me."
"Yeah, right." Pandora scoffed.
"Rose?" Draken asked.
"Hm?"
"What are you doing?" He asked with a confused expression.
"Ha! Can you believe she came here causing trouble and even claimed that you invited her?" Zara exclaimed.
"Because I did invite her. What happened?" The latter was directed at me.
"Your friends don't like me. I believe that we will have issues cooperating, so I intend to leave."
"You bullied Zara, and now you just want to leave?" The short boy asked condescendingly.
"I bullied no one. If anything, she attempted to bully me."
"Then why do you want to leave?" He asked.
"Because I know when I'm not welcomed."
"Zara, did Rose bully you?" Draken asked in a serious tone.
She got nervous. If she continued to lie and people saw the recording, her image would be ruined. She had to word this perfectly to both get Draken on her side and not get in trouble if she were to be recorded. "Well, not exactly. But she poured ice water on me and slapped me."
"Why?" Draken asked.
"Huh?" She was surprised. She obviously expected him to fill in the blanks on his own and yell at me like the other two did.
"What do you mean, why?" The short boy asked, annoyed. He definitely didn't take my previous words seriously. He either doesn't believe there were cameras or he doesn't believe there could be evidence proving my innocence.
"Yeah, how is she supposed to know. Don't you think you're being too biased?" Pandora asked.
"Zara, answer me. Why did Rose do those things?" Draken ignored their questions and pressed for an answer.
Zara buckled under the pressure, "It was a mistake."
Draken pushed for a more detailed response, "What was?"
"I thought she was working here… How was I supposed to know that you would invite her as a guest!" She decided to use Pandora's excuse.
"Rose, can you tell me what happened in detail."
I recalled what happened and then told them to watch the recording later if they didn't believe me. After that, Zara left to get new clothes and everyone agreed to pretend the incident never happened. I never got my apology.
As I was still upset, Draken pulled me aside to talk.
"If you manage to get along with one person here and avoid fighting with the girls, I will give you a reward" Seeing as we were at Sunflower Café, it was obvious what the reward was.
I reluctantly agreed, "Deal."
'I hate Fani and I don't like Pandora, so my only choice was one of the new boys. But they don't seem to like me very much. Can manage to get along with either of them by the end of the day?' I contemplated who I should try to befriend, but I was just happy that he did not attempt to force me to get along with Zara like my sister would. There was no way that was happening when she refused to apologize.
