Draken and I cleaned up the mess Zara and I had made, and then everyone sat at the table. Well, everyone except Draken, he left to go help in the kitchen. Which gave me enough time to calm down and think about my actions earlier.
"Hello, everyone. I would like to apologize for my behaviour earlier. It was a little uncalled-for. I would like us all to start over and try to get along without any preconceptions. I also plan to apologize to Zara and try to get along with her because I may have gone overboard with my actions. So, can we get to know each other?"
"Hello, my name is Lionel. I am 16 years old and an actor and a drummer. What about you?" He was the taller of the two boys. His hair was orange. And his eyebrows and eyes were sharp, making him look a little scary. His piercings on his ears and left eyebrow and the chained choker around his did not help either. He had a neutral expression and wore clothes that had a punk style. Overall, he looked like a gangster, but from the way he spoke earlier, he was more of a polite gentleman.
"I'm Rose, and I am 15 years old. I sing, dance, act, model and play a few instruments as well."
"Dilan. 14. Singer and guitarist." He had a straight nose, pink lips and his monolid eyes bared dark pupils. He was around 5'2 (ca. 157 cm). Furthermore, he was very handsome, but he always had a frown on his face.
"17. I'm a make-up artist and model."
"And your name?"
"You already know it."
"But it's our first time meeting."
"What? No it isn't."
"Never mind. I just wanted everyone to introduce themselves as if we have never heard of each other before." I sighed, "Well, it's a pleasure to meet everyone, I hope we can get along."
"I agree." Lionel smiled.
"Mhm."
"Yeah." Pandora's tone made her sound insincere.
Shortly after, Zara returned. She had her hair under a hat and an annoyed expression as she plopped down into her seat.
I got up and walked over to her, then told her I wanted to talk in private.
We went to the bathroom together.
"What is it?"
"I might have overreacted earlier. I took it a bit too far, but you have no intention to apologize, do you?"
"Nope."
"I thought so, and neither do I. However, since I did take it a little farther than I should have, I could do your hair. If you want me to do so."
"The curls are gone. I spent all morning on them. Can you fix that?"
"Well, no. But I can give you a hairstyle you might like." I took off her hat and braided some of her hair, giving her a cute hairstyle that I thought suited her very well.
"Well, it's not bad…" She stared at herself in the mirror, then lowered her head and muttered, "Doing that to you wasn't my idea."
"What?"
"It was said that you were a bad person, so I shouldn't feel bad using you. So, I listened to that person and tried to use you to get closer to my crush… You seem like a good person, so I decided to tell you. But I don't do apologies, so don't go expecting one."
I smiled, "Alright, let's get back out there." And so, we returned to the table.
As soon as I saw the table, my smile fell. That snake bastard, Fani, was sitting down, chatting happily. Luckily, Draken was also there. There were two available seats, one next to the bastard and one next to Draken, it was obvious which one I chose. Although this seat wasn't much better as he was directly in front of me.
I could clearly see his silver hair and his downturned, grey eyes. His flawless pale skin and pink lips. His entire face annoyed me, it was the most punchable face I had ever seen. Although, I admit, I can see why people would think he's handsome.
"Hey, Rose! How are you doing?"
"None of your business."
"Come on, don't be like that."
"I will be however I want to be, it doesn't involve you, so keep out of my business."
"That's no way to talk to your friends."
"We are NOT friends. And frankly, we never will be friends. Don't pretend to be my friend because I refuse to play along."
"Isn't that a bit mean?"
"I don't really care."
"I really do want to be your friend."
"Yeah right." I sighed and looked away. "Won't I just seduce you like I did Draken to fix my broken reputation?" I spat back his words at me.
"Rose," Zara called my name as if she wanted to scold me.
"What?"
"Don't you think you're taking it too far again?" She asked.
"Not this time. He told her those words went they first met," Draken replied for me.
The snake bastard looked annoyed, "Don't you think there is an issue here?"
"What issue?"
"With her sitting next to you, people be bound to misunderstand when they watch the video back."
"I'd rather be misunderstood than sit next to you."
"Come on. I was just a little overprotective of Draken. It was a small, harmless test to see if you were genuine. Don't you think you overreacted? And you're still doing it. Let us be friends and forgive and forget."
"You are not allowed to say those words. After not only calling my parents fools but accusing me of murdering them, you have lost your forgive and forget rights."
"That wasn't in the video. Are you certain that happened? Maybe you're not remembering correctly."
"Just shut your mouth. I refuse to be gaslit by a slimy snake bastard like you. I'll pretend you don't exist, and you'll do the same, and we will peacefully get this over with." It took so much strength to try to remain somewhat calm. "Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go outside for some fresh air."
I then went outside, took a walk around their beautiful flowerless garden and finally, I washed my face at the drinking fountain before returning to the café.
