Lazy was covered in sweat. Grimm checked the stats he could see if Lazy and noticed a big problem. His health and mana were super low and depleting. He quickly used Personal Hex raising Lazys Mind stat and Light of Luck.
Lazys Mind and Constitution stat increased for a short time while his Strength and Dexterity stat decreased.
Ki
"Thanks man" he said to Grimm.
The two of the could hear Power and Swift curse at him while Nitro was mumbling about explosions and someone's mother.
Lazy was barely able to keep the giant golem together. He was struggling to not pass out. The golem was stomping the corpses into the ground turning them to a pile of mush.
Crash!!
He couldn't hold the form anymore. The golem now reverted back to a pile of cars. Falling onto the pile of flesh. Power and Swift made it back to the top of the bus as a bright light imitated around Grimm. The group was brought back to fill health besides Lazy. He was only stabilized from draining health. He could tell that his spells weren't having any affect and figured he needed genuine rest to get back to normal. Grimm also noticed that his entire stats and class changed.

Lazy underwent a complete genetic change for his class. He was starting to get worried that for the class evolution they would all go through the same thing.
"Ahahahahaha"
The players looked over seeing the shaman laughing as a dark green mist flowed out of his staff to the flesh pile. It started absorbing all the flesh and bones creating a large shape. As the mist dissipated what remained haunted the players. It was a 14ft tall flesh golem. It had no skin but muscle and bones and eyes covering its entire body. Bloodshot eyes, hands and arms covering it like a spine on its back with so man legs underneath it looking like a slug.
Goblin Flesh Abomination

Power used the last of his mana to cast multiple ice walls to enclose the creature. Swift sent wave after wave after wave of Wind Blades cutting it. The blade would pass through the flesh before it came back together like puddy. Grimm pulled Lazy and nitro down to the floor of the bus. They both took minor damage falling. He ran to the drivers seat turning the bus back on and driving away. Power crawled back down the latter of the bus, picking Lazy off the ground and into a seat. Swift got Tantrum to get back into the bus as he sent more Wind Blades, with little effect, towards the monster. It started to slowly chase after them. Swift could hear it's bones breaking as it tried to walk/crawl towards them. As they increased the distance between them they could see the creature crumble in the distance.
Grimm didn't bother going back to the school for fear of being tracked. He drove the bus a good ways back to a place he's familiar with. He drove to an old work location. The bowling alley. He drove behind the giant building to the employee parking garage. Swift and him jumped out to open the garage door. Getting on either side the two players tried to lift the door to no avail. Swift said "fuck it" using his swords to cut the locks and open the door himself.
Snap Snap
He was able to cut open the locks and open the door but broke his swords in the process. He used the swords like crowbars to open the door.
Swift just viciously threw his broke swords away as Grimm drove the bus in. Once in swift closed the garage door behind. The bus barely fit inside the garage. Lazy was already passed out on the seat and we left there.
Everyone was sitting at a seat with a broken moral. It was quite for a long time before Swift spoke up.
"We wouldn't be in this mess if he wasn't sick. Or whatever it was. I blame him for this" he pointed at Lazy.
"Ya if he was awake he could have helped. And the only time he did help he hurt us" Nitro said while moving his arm finding a bruise.
Grimm chimed in "ya but if it wasn't for him we would have list the raid and it would have been harder. I was nearly running out of mana when he used his to save us."
"Ya! I mean he did kick me into a wall and shattered an ice sphere I was in, nearly killing me. Hahaha. We did make it out a live. The three of us would have been killed and only the support left to finish the raid. Ya we would have definitely failed."
The group all went silent again. Everyone started to lay down and go to sleep besides Swift. He watched Tantrum curled up in the back sleeping from the fight. He noticed the raid was still active and knew something would sooner or later.
After a couple hours his eyes started to close. He would open them only to feel the weight started to close them again.
"Hey Swift we have a change of plans"
Startled, Swift shot up wide awake.
"HammerFist? It's kinda late. What's going on?"
"We have a couple problems. The goblin horde is getting worse and we only have two lines of defense left. We aren't trying to get buses anymore but we've stashed them on a cruise ship. We are going to take the cruise ship up the Mississippi River to Kansas and then deploy the busses to Kansas City."
"How did you get the cruise ship going? Is that really a safer option? Are the roads clear to Kansas City?"
"For the most part. The Undying Legion Guild has completely taken over Kansas City with little resistance. What can you expect from the number one guild?"
"How members do that have? And again about the cruise ship."
"Oh right! Apparently TridentWaterfall was a mechanic in the military irl and he can fix it up. And the guild has nearly five thousand members."
"Trident? You mean the top squad leader for Undying? What's he doing there? Thought he would be at Kansas City with his guild."
"Oh do you know him? Apparently he was meeting with his squad for the Swamplands raid. He was going to log in first and scout around for his team when we got sucked in here. He was alone for a couple days before getting to us here. Him, myself and some of my Squad Captains are almost level twenty. We plan to leave in a week. How are you and yours guild doin? Can you make it here within the week?"
"Fuck. That's a tight schedule. We ran into some problems. We found two players abducted by some goblins and turned a Walmart near us into a fort. We went to save them an activated a raid. The world must be able to change an adapt on its own. There was never a raid here. We just barely escaped. Goblin shaman necromancer. We couldn't even save the players. We might be able to finish it in a day or so. I believe a Goblin Mother is in the fort. Could you leave in two weeks? We want to save those players and we are close to level twenty ourselves. Have any idea about the class evolution?"
"Yeah I heard about that. No idea. The world isn't what we knew. If the world can adapt like you say then we have a rough twenty years ahead of us. I'm more worried death will be come permanent."
"So am I. We nearly died fighting this medium difficulty raid. Honestly if it wasn't for Lazy we would have failed the raid and it would have been harder next time."
"I'm sorry to hear that. Listen I can hold off for another week. But after that I have to leave and take these guys. Later man, and good luck."
"Thanks"
And with that the chat ended. Swift laid back onto the seat and stared at the ceiling thinking what to do next. Before he realized it he was asleep.
