The group was read for the raid. They quickly stopped and let Lazy spend a couple minutes deconstructing a car to collect materials. Deciding to attack from two directions the group split up. Tantrum and Swift were going to sneak in through the loading dock. While the rest of the group were going to cause a loud scene to draw attention to the front.
Before they split.
"Swift let me borrow a sword. If I run out of mana I need something else" Lazy asked.
Reluctantly he gave Lazy his sword.
"You better not loose it, or you're making me a new one haha."
Tantrum and Swift jumped out the back and started to run off. Taking a slightly long way around to the back of the fort.
The rest of the group focused. Trying to think of a plan Lazy said.
"Leave the giant abomination for me. I'll handle it if you guys wana focus on other two. Nitro if you can kill the shaman as quickly as possible that would be great."
He turned to Grimm.
"Just need you to back up Power while he fights the Chieftain. Don't even worry about me. If I die I just lose some experience points. So I'll be fine."
"Yeah yeah yeah. I'll keep him alive with my magic. Are you sure you'll be okay?"
"Yeah! That thing is stupid strong" Power said.
"I got an idea to draw its attention. And thanks to Swift I have a back up weapon. Although I should focus on making my own while we head to New Orleans. So when I do my distraction, you guys have to make your move."
"Don't worry Lazy. I'll light their asses up" Nitro said while climbing into the seat of the turret.
The group drove to the edge of the parking lot opposite the entrance. The wall of cars were still destroyed from the last fight and the giant abomination was guarding the entrance. Lazy told Nitro to shoot at the hulking creature to draw its attention and drive towards the cars blocking the Pharmacy entrance. While he distracted the beast the rest of the group will plow through the entrance of the Grocery side and fight them. Leaving Lazy and the beast far away to fight.
Grimm drove the bus at an angle to the beast.
BBBBBBRRRRRRTTTTTTTT
Nitro opened fired on the beast drawing its attention. Grimm turned the bus to be parallel to the fort driving towards the Pharmacy side. The best gave chase. As it moved another smaller horde of goblins came running out with the Chieftain and Shaman standing behind them.
As the group got to the other entrance that was blocked, Grimm pulled the emergency break to drift the bus. Completely pulling a 180 turn Lazy jumped out the back. The bus started to drive away at a 45 degree angle away from the fort to circle back around to the entrance. The giant abomination started to turn and chase the bus.
"Oh no you don't" Lazy yelled!
The cars that acted like a barricade came to life. In the form a giant hand the cars flew into the abomination pinning it to the ground. The abomination turned into a pile of flesh goo and slide out from under this giant mechanical hand. While it got up Lazy used his Psionic Lance to piece through the creature.
Rrrrrrreeeeeeeee
The creature screeched out in pain. It was the first time Lazy had heard that noise. Noticing the hole he made he saw a large pink gem the size of a tire. He watched the flesh reach to it connecting back to it. It reformed and every eye started at Lazy with hatred. Tentacles of flesh in the shape of spears shot out towards Lazy.
Immediately pulling up a Psionic Reflex shield to block or even reflect the attack. Some of the tentacles smashed into the shield pushing him back nearly 10ft. Some of them left cuts on his limbs and even going between his legs and limbs piercing the ground.
"I've seen enough anime to know where this is going! I want no part of this!"
Lazy took out the sword slashing at the tentacles. Slashing through and breaking away he used his Psionic power to bring the giant metal hand into the monster again. Repeating the last time he launched half a dozen Psionic Lances towards the monster to find that gem. The lances shot through its body only leaving empty holes. The monster took a tentacle, grabbed one of the cars, ripped it off the metal hand throwing it at Lazy.
Using his reflecting shield and moving out the way as fast as possible the car slammed into this shield sending him to the ground. He looked back up as the monster turned into a tidal wave of flesh, eyes and bones came towards him. In a fit of panic he ran to the car that was thrown at him and jumped in. He used his reflecting shields on both sides to try and cover himself up. The monster devoured the car.
Dozens of thin spear like tentacles shot out into the car. Broken glass and metal flew around inside the car. It started to deform and be crushed under the weight of the monster. More and more tentacles started to pierce through his shield cutting up his face and body. Some even pierced his body. While panicking Lazy realized this was a raid. If he died he wouldn't respawn till the group succeeded or failed. In a desperate move he used his Psionic power on the car. Crushing metal pieces and glass and reshaping them into small jagged spikes. He launched them in every direction.

The creature screeched again while it pulled itself off the car. As the creature moved off of the car Lazy noticed a pink gem slowly be pulled with the rest of the body. Using nearly the last bit of mana he had he reformed the giant metal hand and called it toward him.
Smash!!
The giant metal hand slammed into the ground creating a huge shock wave. Everyone fighting at the entrance briefly stopped and looked over. Lazy was sent flying covered in goblin flesh. The abomination was killed leaving behind a crater of flesh, bone and eyes behind. In the center was a giant metal fist covered in the flesh. Beneath it everyone could see hundreds of shiny dots, unable to fully tell what it was.
Lazy was exhausted. He had little less then half his health remaining and only about 15% of his mana left. He started to pick himself up and wipe off the gunk he was covered in.

A huge fire explosion landed a couple of feet from him. The shockwave sent him flying towards the barricade. He slammed into it denting the car that was sitting on his side. He looked over and his eyes filled with a mix of anger and disappointment. He watched as RifterMax had a weird arcane aura around him while he was standing a top Hellacious in her demon wolf form.
