"Goodnight, boys." Amiya waved her hand while climbing up inside the carriage.
"Yeah, Goodnight, Amiya." Randall and Clint replied while laying their carpets on the ground next to the campfire. While Moriel was currently sleeping at the driver's seat of the carriage.
"Let's go, Gwen, I need you as my hug pillow."
"On my way."
"What about me? You do not want me as your hug pillow?"
Amiya narrowed her eyes. "Dream on it, Clinton."
Both Randall and Clint just laughed at her reply.

In the middle of the night, Randall woke up due to the sound coming from the distance. A distinct light coming from magic was visible from his location.
The fire from the campfire was almost gone making the surrounding shrouded in darkness. Making the light from the fire magic from the distance stand out more.
He brushed his face using his hand while standing.
"Randall?" Clint's weak voice called for him.
"Do you want me to hug you or something?"
Clint growled, covered his face with his blanket, and continued his sleep.
Randall just laughed at him while walking towards the light. He followed the light until he reached an open grassland right under the light of the full moon.
The first thing he saw, was the familiar smooth blonde hair of the caster of the Fire magic, her eyes were looking above while her asymmetrical bangs were being blown by the gentle wind. She was smiling while immersing herself in the fireballs floating around her.
A fireball as huge as she was floating above her, at the same time, multiple fireballs were encircling her like giant fireflies. Gwen smiled as her blue eyes directed to Randall.
"You should be sleeping now, Gwen."
"Did I wake you up?"
The gigantic fireball shrank and split up and scattered around the both of them, as if they were in the spotlight while the ball of lights highlighted the both of them.
Randall shrugged. "Not really."
"I see." With a smile on her face, Gwen closed her eyes as the fireballs floating around vanished in the darkness, letting the moonlight to took over.
Gwen sat at the grass and gazed at the moon. Randall sat next to her and did the same.
"Your Fire magic has improved a lot."
Half of Gwen's lips rose as he stared at Randall. Her face was filled with pride in it. "Yes, I know." She replied using a voice that she was not usually using.
"Please refrain from doing that face, it's not princess like, you looked like a smug child after your mother finally bought you a toy that you want after crying for an hour."
"Say what you want, Randall. I have the right to, I have worked hard for it." Gwen leaned both her hand on her back to pillar her hand to the grassy floor. "If you are good at something, you should be prideful about it because not everyone can do what you can."
"Such cheeky words coming from a modest princess. Why don't you act like that when you're in front of 2 of them? Why you're keeping your princess-like act?"
"It is more than a selfish act of displaying a facade. It is my responsibility to do so. Sometimes, you need to be a perfect image for the people who are looking up at you. That is the burden of being on top of the hierarchy."
"What do you mean by people? What are you seeing me to? A pet?"
Gwen laughed at him. "Maybe? Do you want to? We can make an arrangement."
Randall just looked at her with disbelief in his eyes and released a huge sigh. "It's a good thing I'm already used to that attitude of yours. Even though it gave me a huge scared the first time I've seen it."
"Yes, I remembered it, that was when we have first met when I fell inside a muddy swamp inside a hole in one of our joint quests. I could not help it, the place was disgusting. I remembered you almost fled to leave me behind out of your surprise."
"I mean who wouldn't? You look like a completely different person, I thought, you had been possessed by some kind of dark spirit."
"Since then you have decided to join in this party."
Randall narrowed his eyes. "Join? You threatened me to join and forcefully dragged me everywhere you feel like going."
Gwen did not answer and just turned her gaze above.
For a second they remained silent while gazing at the moon above them.
"The night sky is beautiful is not it?" Gwen said.
"Yeah? I guess? I mean sure. I'm always seeing it, it's not new to me anymore."
"Back then, when I was still a child. I am always daydreaming about a scenery I want to happen when I grow up, the scenery of me gazing at the full moon with my knight in shining armor sitting next to me. Such a childish princess dream is it not?"
Randall shrugged. "Well, too bad princess, but the person next to you at this moment is just a poor adventurer who grew up in an orphanage. I'm no knight."
Half of Gwen's lips rose. "Of course, you are not even a knight material. Do not even dream of becoming one, you are not fit to become one."
Randall stood up and blocked the light of the moon from her. "Wow, thank you very much for your kind words, Princess."
Gwen's eyes remained on him. "But I do not mind."
"Ha?"
"I do not mind if it is you, Randall."
The awe on Randall's face was visible as both of them stared at each other. For a few seconds, they were talking using their eyes. No words, but the message was clear.
One of Randall's hands move and gently brushed Gwen's top hair.
With overflowing joy in his eyes. "Then, let's watch every night sky together."
Without saying anything, Gwen nodded.

The morning sun greeted the great forest of Fiora for a new day.
"Healing potions?" Amiya asked.
"Check!" Clint responded to her.
"Poison antidote?"
"Here." Gwen answer as she put the bottle of antidotes inside her bag.
"Mana potion?"
"I have it," Randall answered while raising the bottles he was holding with a blue liquid in them. "You, Amiya? What are you bringing?"
Amiya raised her red wooden staff. "My beautiful face, of course."
Clint wore his sword on his waist. "We will arrive there after a few minutes. Be prepared."
