Chapter 31 - First Contact?!!

"MASTER!!" Rushing frantically into the room where I was relaxing, Vicky tossed herself hard enough in my arms to flip both me and my chair for a loop! "You're heeeerrrrreeeee!!" Wrapping her arms tight around my head, she pulled me so tightly into her embrace that I could hardly breathe for her bosoms smothering me!

"Dumb ass!" It was completely obvious from her tone that Maria was utterly angry and disgusted with me.

"Wha.. What did I do? I haven't done anything!" Pushing Vicky back slightly, I gulped for air while proclaiming my innocence.

"We thought something had happened to you," Maria grumbled at me, moodily. "Just what the hell are you doing hiding in my closet, anyway?"

"Nothing happened to me," I assured them both. "I just moved the gateway to a better place, in my opinion. Here, it won't be noticed if somebody ever comes in and visits us, you know."

"Well you could've waited and told us," Vicky sniffled into my shoulder. "We came back and you and the portal were both gone! We didn't have a clue about what had happened to you!"

"And you wouldn't answer us," Maria grumbled moodily.

"Stupid soundproof house," I reminded them, resisting the urge to stick my tongue out to tease Maria. The mood she's in currently, she'd probably sucker-punch my ass and I'd bite the whole thing off!

"I'm fine though. Honest!" Patting Vicky's head, I tried my best to smile reassuringly, before attempting to change the subject. "So… Umm… What did your mother think of the 'worn bath-towel' look?"

"Oh, she loved it!" Perking up a little, Vicky giggled lightly thinking about it. "She gave me my own Black Card so I can go shopping for similar designs later."

"Honest," Maria assured me, seeing the disbelieving look on my face. What type of damn mother encourages her child to walk around one sneeze shy from being naked?!

"Mother's only complaint was the cheap gaudiness of the material we used, but she said the overall fashion concept was nice." Helping me get back up from where she'd bowled me down, Vicky was beaming brightly now. "Mother said it was very Princess Leia inspired, and also encouraged me to look at Red Sonja and Dejah Thoris for inspiration—whoever they are!"

Staring over at Maria, she just nodded her head affirmative sadly. It's no wonder Vicky's so screwed up. Even her own mother is basically willing to pimp her out for some political points! If it wasn't for her suggestions hitting my own personal tastes so well, I'd dress Vicky up in an Arctic snowsuit just to spite her! But, it's just too sweet of a chance to sexify Vicky up, to let it slip away like that!

"Don't worry," I promised her, grinning evilly, "we'll do some online shopping later and spend all your damn mother's money. We might even get you your own set of authentic bikini armor to wear," I promised Vicky. If her damn opportunistic mother was going to jump at the chance to piggyback on Vicky's drama and exploit it ruthlessly, then I was going to shamelessly exploit the limits of that damn credit card she'd gave Vicky.

"Well whatever you get, you've got to buy in doubles," Maria declared vehemently. Just looking at her, I could tell that she felt the same way about Vicky's mom as I did. Cold-hearted POLITICIAN!! There's no there word in the English language scummy enough to describe a bottom-feeder like her.

Of course, I could also tell just by looking at Maria, she wasn't going to let this chance pass by on fleecing as much as possible out of that bitch's account until we were cut off. Overnight delivery, no returns policy, no refunds – NO PROBLEM!! Nodding unspoken words of agreement to each other, it was decided that tonight was going to be a looong night!!

"But first…" I muttered softly to myself.

"Do you girls want to see something amazing?" Smirking over at Vicky, I firmly commanded her to, "Get down. On the floor. On your belly!" Laughing at the confused look on her face, I couldn't help but praise her as she complied. "Now squirm forward, slowly. Keep your belly down and do the earthworm wiggle. Two foot… One foot… And now just your head and arms through the portal!"

Looking back one last time for confirmation, Vicky finally pushed her arms through the glowing portal and slowly squirmed forward until her head and shoulders were completely missing; her body ending with most of her still stuck on this side of the portal.

"That's freaky," I told Maria, staring back at her.

"You… You can say that again," Maria whispered breathlessly. "Are you certain that's safe?" Looking up at me, Maria's face was filled with worry.

"It is," I assured her, going over to wrap her tight in my embrace. "It's also the other reason why I moved the portal here and placed it down on the floor like that while you guys were gone. Right in front of where it opens is a cluster of several tightly intergrown trees. I'm too fat to attempt to wiggle out there yet, but Vicky can probably squirm all the way out on some of those branches and fully travel to the other side now if she wants, in all honesty."

"The… The other world is right there…" Staring wide-eyed, Maria trembled like a leaf in a hurricane in my arms.

"It is," I assured her, as Vicky slowly squirmed her way back fully into this side of the portal.

"PHEEEWWWW!! It's hotter than heck on that side! And incredibly humid to boot!" Laughing happily, Vicky energetically bounded up and joined me and Maria to form a three-way embrace. "The air's so moist, but it's so pure, it's amazing! I couldn't feel anything any different with the bark of the trees, or really see anything different with the leaves, but the atmosphere reminds me more of mid-summer, rather than early fall."

"Did… Did you see anything living? Hear anything?" Maria's voice was so soft and low, and she was so pale, I was getting afraid she was going to faint on us soon.

"Nothing but those three pointy-eared girls with the bows," Vicky told us casually. "They waved and pointed, yelling something at me."

"WHA… WHA… WHAAAAAAATTTTTT??!!" The screech that burst out of Maria made me glad we lived in a soundproof house for a change, even though it hurt my ears.

Panicking myself, my instant reflex was to slam shut the portal between worlds, before whatever Vicky had saw on that side could get to this one!

"EL… EL.. ELF GIRLS?? REALLLY??" Maria's eyes were so wide, they seemed like they were about ready to pop out of her face.

"No," Vicky giggled loudly. "I'm just kidding. I was only there for a few seconds. I didn't really see or hear anything that I'd call unusual for a forest, except the heat and humidity."
