"Do you need help unpacking?" Asui asked, motioning to your arm and leg.
"I already did-" You answered, "-but thanks."
"When!?" Mina and Ochaco were confused! They never seen or heard you coming or going!?
"I wanna see!" Mina bounced, "Can we see your room!?"
"Uh...why?"
"Because we are holding a contest for best dorm!" Mina explained, "Come on!"
"Fine." You waved.
"Where is your...?"
"Forth floor." You answered, "I'm next to B." You nodded to him.
"You are?" Bakugo turned.
"Mhm." You nodded; your eyes felt heavy as sleep stung your eyes.
"Where have you been all day?" Asui wondered as you followed everyone to the elevator.
"Why didn't you answer your phone!?" Mina harshly added.
"Well-" You breathed, "-I woke up late, so I rushed to get to my doctor's appointment. I left my phone at home."
"It took you all day at the doctors?"
"No." You shook your head, "I spent the rest of the day with Toshinori."
"That man that was with you downstairs?" Jiro asked.
"Yeah." You nodded, Bakugo saw the pain flash through your face. He then realized you just inherited a father figure into your life, now because of him and the damn league of villains you had to move out and into this place. Did you feel alone?
"How come you didn't have to be here on time!?" Kaminari whined.
"I... got permission from Mr. Principle."
"Why?"
"Because-" You thought for a moment, "-I never got the chance to say goodbye before and it...wasn't easy." You fought back the tears pressing against your eyes avoiding your classmate's heavy gaze.
"Where the hell is this room!?" Bakugo stepped beside you, blocking you from view. Mina opened your door, allowing your classmates to spill in.
"You good?" Bakugo leaned closer, so only you could hear.
"Yep." You nodded, still not making eye contact.
Unknowingly to Bakugo, he was heard by Kirishima and Shoto who held watchful eyes.
"This room is so..." Mina looked around. "...you."
"I don't know if that's an insult or..." You chuckled, trailing off.
"I-It's a compliment!" Mina quickly replied. "I mean, I walk in here and I instantly can...feel you. Does that make sense?"
"It does." You nodded leaning against the wall.
"Did you have a good time with All--I mean Toshinori?" Midoriya surveyed at you as you watched your class go through your things.
"Yeah." You nodded, "It was a good day."
"You know he is still a teacher here-" Midoriya smiled, "-your gonna see him all the time."
"I know." You face pulled together, "But it's not the same."
"(y/n) ..." Midoriya breathed, seeing the pain scribble itself onto your face.
Midoriya quickly caught your hand with his, he led you out of the room and down the hall. The dorms were in the shape of a 'U', Midoriya turned the corner before peeking to make sure they were out of ear shot from everyone else.
"Did something happen-?" Midoriya's voice cut off once he turned to you, tears freely fell down your face.
"I called him dad-" You looked up; chunky tears unwelcomely formed. "-then I left him."
"No!" Midoriya breathed, rushing over engulfing you inside a hug. "You can't think like that (y/n)!"
"I-I could see it on his face!" You cried into Midoriya's shoulder.
"No-" Midoriya shook his head, "-we are all here for our own safety, you're here because All Might loves you! He doesn't think you're leaving him behind!"
"I-I..."
"I know these feelings are new to you, but trust me-" Midoriya leaned away, you looked up at him letting Midoriya cup the side of your face. "-All Might knows you love him; he knows you're not leaving him behind. It's going to be ok; you still have the weekends and holidays, you didn't say goodbye to your first home, you just gained a second."
"A second one?"
"Yes-" Midoriya smiled, "-and a second crazy family."
"What's going on here!?" Bakugo's voice growled out.
"K-Kacchan!" Midoriya breathed, his blood running cold as he turned seeing Bakugo standing behind the two of you, his hands resting inside his pants pockets.
"What the hell did you do!?" Bakugo stomped forward, by old habit Midoriya backed away. Bakugo wrapped an arm around your waist, cupping one side of your face studying you as he did so.
"I-I-" Midoriya didn't know what to say or do, his heart ran in circles confused on how to feel.
"He was helping me." You sighed, leaning your face into Bakugo's hand loving how warm he always felt.
"By making you cry!?" Bakugo glared.
"I wasn't crying." You muttered as Bakugo pulled you into a tight hug, your eyes felt heavy. "My eyes were just leaking."
"Yeah, I randomly leak from my eyes too, that's totally normal!" Bakugo mocked, dragging you away from Midoriya and back to the common area. He placed you on the couch before turning on the tv show the two of you became obsessed with.
It didn't take long for the rest of the class to make their way down and join the two of you. They questioned you on why you vanished, but Bakugo snapped at them telling the class to shut up, they were louder than the television.
After fifteen minutes of the class laughing and joking around Bakugo's eye twitched in annoyance. His arms crossed over his chest as he kept glancing over at the commotion.
"SHUT THE HELL UP!" Bakugo finally snapped.
----
You stared at your reflection in the mirror hanging lazily on the wall in your changing room. Your fingers brush over the material of your new hero costume, you deeply frowned feeling uncomfortable at the tight fabric hugging your body. You were so used to wearing baggy clothing.
Asui was about to walk out of the locker rooms, having finished changing into her hero costume. She knew the rest of the class was waiting for the two of you to join them, Asui was just about to walk out the door when she stopped and turned.
"(y/n)-?" She called.
"Y-Yeah?" You were lightly startled, turning to look away from the mirror.
"Are you ok?" Asui asked.
"Uh..." You turned back to your reflection. "...I-I might just wear my gym clothes."
"Why?" Asui wondered, it took you a moment to collect yourself before stepping out into the open. Asui blushed upon seeing the black material hugging your skin, the tight pants tucked into your boots, the belt with two thigh holsters, the corset hugging your frame all spun together capturing your trained killer vibe.
"Asui?"
"I told you to call me Tsu." Asui repeated.
"Ah, sorry." The small smile on your face vanished, touching your stomach. "This...uh..."
"Is this what you were going for?" Asui wondered unable to remove her eyes from you. You looked so picturesque.
"I just gave the support department an outline of my quirks and told them to do whatever." You sighed, "In hindsight that probably wasn't the best idea."
"(y/n)-" Asui walked over, "-you look amazing."
"I-I do?"
"Yeah." Asui blushed, forcing her eyes onto your face and not your body. "Here-" Asui pulled you to the counter lined with sinks and a large mirror. Asui sat you down and helped you with your makeup.
"How do you know how to do this?" You wondered.
"Mina." Asui smiled, "She loves this kind of stuff."
"Yeah." You sighed, looking upward as Asui applied eye shadow and liner to make your eyes pop against the black material.
"What are you going to do with your hair?" Asui wondered.
"Just pull it back?" You nervously played with your hands in your lap, "Being girly really isn't in my wheelhouse."
"Mine either." Asui commented. "But thanks to Mina and my mom, I know a little bit."
"Your mom?"
"Mhm. She is the reason I have long hair; she loves to style it."
"That sounds nice."
"It is..." Asui trailed off, glancing to your blank face. "...where is your mom?"
"I don't know." You shrugged.
"You don't know?" Asui questioned rummaging through her bag.
"Yeah." You confirmed with a sigh. "When my father sold me to Shadow Jack, he made an agreement with my mother. If she doesn't make waves or go to the authorities, and she could be free of him...so she did."
"She just let him give you away?"
"Yeah." You nodded. "She chose herself over me and my siblings. Which-" You shrugged, "-I guess being stuck with a man like my dad would have been its own personal hell so..."
"No-" Asui shook her head as she brushed through your hair. "-she should have fought for you guys, that is her job!"
"Well...she didn't strike me as the type of person to want kids in the first place." You replied, "She wanted nothing to do with any of us after we were born so I never looked at her as my mother so-" You shrugged again as Asui began to braid your hair. "-I didn't really feel a loss when I was given up."
"I'm so sorry (y/n)" Asui breathed, feeling incredibly grateful for her parents.
"Nothing to be sorry for." You weakly grinned. "I barely even remember what they look like, it's been like...ten years."
"Wow."
"What are you doing?" You wondered, not familiar with the feeling of someone styling your hair.
"I am braiding it." Asui answered, "This is my special braid, my...my mom taught me this one when I was a kid. Ok-!" She stepped away. "-are you ready to see!?"
"I-I guess." You laughed standing from the chair, Asui beamed as you slowly turned to the mirror.
You stared at a woman you couldn't recognize looking back at you. You touched your cheek and for the first time you viewed yourself as pretty and didn't hate what looked back at you.
"Thank you." You breathed, turning to Asui.
"No problem!" Asui smiled, "I'm sure Mina can teach you a lot more. Are you ready to go?"
"Yeah..." You breathed, taking one last glance before following Asui to meet up with the rest of the class.
