After the three stood up and left the room, they followed the old man, who did not say anything to them. He simply started walking, and the guards followed behind them. The three friends were getting more and more worried the longer no one explained what was happening.
While two of them were worried, the third one started to form an idea about their whereabouts. He looked around as they walked through the hallways and that idea of his was getting closer to reality in his mind.
Dean was able to see the paintings on the walls that looked like they were out of a fantasy game. He also saw the scenery outside the windows, which made him think that they were inside somewhere important. He saw a beautiful garden with a lot of guards wandering around, and the place was surrounded by huge walls.
His heart started beating faster as he thought more about what was in his head. The more he saw around him, the more certain he became that what he was thinking was right.
He started breathing heavily as he looked around, and his friends noticed the change in his behavior. Jasem spoke to him, asking if he was okay.
"Are you okay? Do you need help?" Jasem asked, worried about Dean, who was having difficulty breathing and walking. He had stopped walking and placed his hands on his knees, unable to believe what was happening.
"Are you okay, young man? Do you need help?" the old man asked from the front. Dean raised his head and looked at him silently, then nodded and smiled before he responded, "I'm fine". which made them start walking again
He didn't want to say anything in front of the men, not knowing how they would react. He was waiting for a time when he and his friends would be alone to tell them what he had found out.
After walking through the long hallways, the boys suddenly stopped in front of a large wooden door. The old man turned to Jasem, who was directly behind him, and spoke in a low voice.
"This is your room," the old man said, gesturing to the door. "The maids will bring you some clothes to get ready before meeting the king. Please, make yourselves comfortable."
All of them flinched when they heard that. Their eyes widened in surprise, and they took a step back. They could feel their hearts pounding in their chests, and their palms were starting to sweat. They didn't know what to expect, but they knew that meeting the king was a big deal.
They stayed silent for a few moments, each lost in their own thoughts. Jasem was the first to move, stepping towards the door. But before he could go inside, Adam spoke up.
"Sorry, old man," Adam said, "but we need to stay together the entire time if you want us to comply with you." He didn't want to get separated from his friends. He still didn't know what was happening, and he wanted to stay together with them because he felt safer that way.
"Hmmm, are you guys fine changing your clothes in front of each other? "
Asked the old man as he wasn't sure if these men wanted to do that or not as they have to change their weird clothes before meeting his majesty the king
He get a response from Jasem immediately who didn't have to think about the old man's question
"That won't be a problem"
After hearing that the old man didn't see any reason preventing them from being together in the same room for the time being, one of the guards opened the door for them. The boys walked inside the room and closed the door behind them.
The old man appointed two guards to stay by the door, then he left the room. He said that he would be back soon to take them to meet the king, but in the meantime, he needed to go and ready himself.
After they got inside, the boys looked around the small, sparsely furnished room. The only furniture was a bed, a chair, and a small cabinet. The walls were bare, and the only light came from a small window. The room was cold and damp, and the air was stale.
Jasem sat down on the bed, his head in his hands. He didn't know what was going on, and he felt a sense of dread. Adam sat down on the chair next to him, and they both put their heads in their hands. They didn't know what to do, and they were both feeling scared and confused.
Dean on the other hand, was still standing, breathing heavily. He started to laugh slightly, looking down at the ground. His two friends looked at him at the same time, confused and concerned.
"Dude, have you lost your mind or what?" Jasem said, clearly worried about Dean. Dean's laughter was starting to sound manic, and he was behaving erratically. He dropped to his knees and raised his fist in the air, screaming as loud as he could.
"Yessss!" Dean shouted, his laughter becoming more and more unhinged. Jasem could see that Dean was losing control, and he knew that he had to do something to stop him. He grabbed the pillow on the bed and threw it at him with all his strength. The pillow hit Dean in the face, and he stopped laughing for a moment.
"Humph," Dean grunted as he fell to his back after being hit by the pillow. He lay there silently, staring up at the ceiling with a blank expression on his face. His friends stared at him in confusion, not sure what to make of his behavior.
He didn't stay silent for long. He hugged the pillow that was on top of him tightly, and started kicking his legs around with glee. He seemed to be happy for some reason, but his friends were still confused.
"Dean! Either you tell us what's happening or stop acting like this. We're not in a situation to joke around," Adam said, his frustration evident in his voice. Dean sat back up and looked at his friends with a bright smile on his face.
"I just won in life," Dean said. Jasem and Adam looked at each other, confused. What did he mean by that? They had no idea what he was talking about.
But Dean didn't stay silent for long. He looked at Jasem and Adam, his eyes shining with excitement. "We have been summoned to another world," he said
He was still smiling widely when he said that, looking at his friends who were about to laugh at him. They thought this man had officially lost his mind.
How do you come to that conclusion?" Adam asked. Jasem was too stunned to speak, and he was barely able to hold back his laughter. Dean just smiled and said
"Did you see what those men were wearing? And the painting that was on the walls when we came here?"
Adam shook his head as an answer. He hadn't managed to look around since he was more concerned about their current situation. Jasem stayed silent, still not believing what Dean was talking about. This made Dean start pointing at the window that was behind the two of them as he spoke after.
"Go and take a look through that window, and you will believe me," Dean said, his eyes shining with excitement. "You'll see that we're not Home anymore."
The two looked at each other, unsure of what to believe. But Dean seemed so confident, and they were curious, so they stood up and went to the window. They looked out, and their eyes widened in surprise. They saw a world that was unlike anything they had ever seen before. The trees were a different shape, and the animals were unlike anything they had ever seen before.
After looking through the window, they found out that there were people wearing different clothes from the regular clothes they knew. Their clothes looked old, like they were from a different time period.
Adam and Jasem looked out the window in amazement. They saw a huge wall around the place, and people were walking on top of it. There were carriages parked around, some of them with hay on them, and others empty. Horses were wandering around the place, and they looked like they were from a different time.
The two finally knew what Dean was saying was the truth, and their faces became pale. They had found out that they were on another world completely different from their old one, and this made them start panicking.
"How did this happen?" Adam asked, unable to look away from the window. Jasem dropped down to the floor after he looked at his phone and saw that there was no signal. He had one person in mind that he knew he wouldn't be able to call tonight.
Dean, who had been laughing uncontrollably, finally managed to control himself when he saw his friends' reactions. He stood up from the floor and said
Dean looked at his friends, who were still looking at him in disbelief. "I know it sounds crazy," he said, "but I'm serious. I think we were summoned here."
Adam turned around and looked at Dean, his eyes narrowing in suspicion. He thought Dean was joking around, but Dean's expression was serious.
"Bro, it's not the time for your fantasies," Adam said, cutting Dean off. "Either you know something or…," he trailed off as the door opened. Three maids entered the room, carrying clothes with them. They placed the clothes on the bed and bowed to the three heroes.
The maids bowed their heads and said, "Greetings great heroes, we would be at your service today." Dean's nose immediately started bleeding as he saw how the maids looked. They were all beautiful, with long, flowing hair and revealing clothing. He couldn't contain his excitement anymore.
Dean stood there like a statue, not moving or blinking. He didn't want to waste a moment looking away from the beauties who were standing before him. He was in awe of their beauty, and he couldn't believe that he was actually seeing them.
"Heaven!" he whispered. This was the only word he could think of to describe the current situation they were in. He felt like he was in a dream, and he didn't want to wake up.
The maids who were in front of him started to get uncomfortable as Dean kept staring at them. They fidgeted and looked away, but Dean didn't seem to notice. He was too busy being mesmerized by their beauty.
Adam walked over to the maids and said, "Thank you, but we can handle things from here." He opened the door and wanted the maids to leave, but Dean glared at him furiously.
"No, but we have to…" one of the maids tried to insist. But she stopped when she saw Dean's creepy smile. She and her colleagues turned around and left the room immediately, bowing one more time before they left.
"Nooooo!" Dean shouted as the maids left the room. He was so close to fulfilling one of his dreams, and he couldn't believe that Adam had ruined it. He started hitting the floor after Adam closed the door behind them.
Adam didn't say anything to Dean. He just walked over to Jasem, who was still sitting on the floor, and sat down next to him. Jasem hadn't said anything since they had learned that they were in another world. He was still trying to process what had happened, and he was thinking of ways to go back.
Adam went to Jasem and put his arm around him. He couldn't imagine how Jasem was feeling right now. He had finally gathered up the courage to ask the girl he liked out, only to have that opportunity snatched away from him a few moments later.
"Don't worry," Adam said. "There must be an explanation for what is happening here other than what Dean said."
Jasem smiled as he found a little glimmer of hope in Adam's words. This made him stand up. The three of them then started to pick up the clothes they were going to wear as they started to get ready to meet this king they knew nothing about.
After everyone grabbed what fit them, they changed out of their school uniforms and into the new fancy clothes that felt uncomfortable to them.
Adam and Jasem sat down after they were done changing. Dean, who had already gotten ready, started taking selfies with his phone to save this moment forever.
Adam remembered that their stuff were still with them and brought his phone out of his uniform pocket and tried to see if there was a signal to call for help but he couldn't find any
'Tsk…, it look like this weeb might be right after all'
He thought in his head as he didn't want to say that out loud as he was concerned about Jasem who was still shaky about their current situation
He sat back down as he looked through his phone that was about to shut down as the battery was close of being empty
He knew if what Dean said was true then this might be his last chance of seeing his family members who he won't be able to contact anymore
He browsed through the pictures he had of them as a faint smile appeared on his face before the phone shut down suddenly as he was looking at a picture of his mother
The smile he had on his face disappeared as he raised his head looking at the door that was in front of him that opened slowly as the old man appeared again
"Are you ready to meet the kings?"
The old man asked with a smile on his face as he was excited for this moment what made the three stand up and head toward him after and followed behind him leaving the room heading toward the throne room
