After King Adham left the Great Hall, Adam grabbed Jasem's collar and began shouting at him, furious that he had agreed to something as foolish as getting involved in a war when they had nothing to do with it.
"Why would you agree to that?!" Adam shouted, his face twisted with anger. "We could've came up with other ways to help without getting involved directly!"
Adam was furious at Jasem, who seemed to be calmer than ever. He grabbed Jasem's collar and shook him, but Jasem just smiled and calmly removed Adam's hands from his throat. "Calm down, Adam," he said. "It's the only way to get back to earth."
Jasem didn't care what he had to do. Play, trick, kill, or whatever it took, he would do it all. He had already made up his mind that he would do everything he could to get back home.
Adam was still upset. He couldn't accept that at all, He was afraid. He knew that they were weak. None of them had any combat experience. He kept shouting at Jasem, trying to make him see reason.
"There must be another way!" Adam shouted, his face red with anger. "Why would you agree to something like that?!"
Jasem looked at Adam with cold eyes. "And what would that be?" he asked, his voice as sharp as a knife.
Adam stayed silent, which made Jasem speak again
"Do you know of another way, then?" Jasem asked, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "All I've heard from you are false hopes and 'other ways' that are still unknown to us. But the clear path that is laid out in front of us is a surefire way to get back home."
Adam stood there silently, his face pale. He didn't know what to say. He didn't know of another way to get back home. An awkward silence filled the room, broken only by Oliver, who spoke up after seeing how tense the situation was getting.
"This is my fault," Oliver said, his voice filled with regret. "I was so overwhelmed with happiness when we finally managed to summon you after so many failed attempts. I didn't explain the situation properly, and I caused this misunderstanding. I'm so sorry."
As Oliver said that, the three looked at him at the same time, their eyes filled with anticipation. They had been waiting for him to explain their current situation more, and they were eager to hear what he had to say. There were still so many empty gaps that needed to be filled, and they hoped that Oliver would be able to fill them in.
Oliver saw the three looking at him silently, and he knew that they were waiting for him to speak. He took a deep breath and began to explain their current situation.
"As the king has explained to you, you need the Demon Lord's core to open the dimensional gate to travel back to your world. But there is something else I haven't told you from the start. You all have powers that regular people like me don't have. For example, you have the [High Regeneration] skill, which allows you to heal your wounds immediately. You also have the [Million Tongue] skill, which allows you to understand every language in the world, including the language of demons and other races."
The three looked at Oliver for a few moments in silence, their minds racing. They had just learned that they had powers that they didn't know about, and they were trying to process this new information. Finally, Adam spoke up.
"But how would regeneration and translation skills help us defeat this Demon Lord who seems so strong that you had to summon people from another world to kill him?" Adam asked, his voice filled with doubt.
Oliver smiled before he answered Adam's question. He walked towards the center of the hall and released some mana from his hand. The three watched in shock as the mana floated above his hand, swirling and dancing in the air.
"You guys are going to defeat him by using this!" Oliver said, his eyes shining with excitement. "This thing is called mana, and the three of you have a huge amount of it stored inside of you. We will teach you how to use it properly, and you will be able to learn things at a faster rate than regular people because heroes have the blessing of the gods."
After answering their question, Oliver put away his mana and turned around. It was getting late, and he needed to bring them to their new house before he could head back to the church.
"It's getting late, please follow me," Oliver said, gesturing for them to follow him. Jasem and Dean started walking immediately, but Adam stood there for a few moments, thinking about something. Finally, he shook his head and started walking after them.
***************
After they went outside they got inside a carriage that was waiting for them in front of the palace
After they went outside, they got into a carriage that was waiting for them in front of the palace. The carriage was a luxurious carriage, with red velvet seats and gold accents.
As they were sitting silently in the carriage, Oliver noticed that he had been referring to them as "Heroes" and had not yet asked their names. He felt rude for not introducing himself, so he cleared his throat and began to introduce himself.
"Forgive me, I should have introduced myself sooner. I'm so flustered today, I don't know what's come over me. My name is Oliver Hamsey, I'm a high priest at the Atheer Church. And you are?" Oliver asked, his eyes twinkling with curiosity.
Dean, who was the most excited of the three, spoke up first. He introduced himself with a flourish, gesturing wildly with his hands as he did so.
"A pleasure to meet you, Mr. Oliver. I am Dean Watson, the hero who will save all the poor souls of this kingdom."
Oliver couldn't help but smile when he saw Dean standing with his hands on his waist, looking up with a determined expression on his face. Dean looked like a hero they could use, and Oliver knew that he would be a valuable asset to their team.
Adam and Jasem looked at Dean silently for a few moments, their faces expressionless. They were clearly embarrassed to be associated with him, and they wanted to make sure that he didn't do anything to make them look bad. Finally, they could take it no longer. They dragged him down and made him sit, hoping that he would behave himself.
Oliver looked at the other two, waiting patiently for them to introduce themselves. Jasem was the next to speak up.
"It's a pleasure to meet you," Jasem said, extending his hand. "My name is Jasem Kamel."
Jasem introduced himself quickly and politely, extending his hand. Oliver nodded in greeting and shook his hand then turned to Adam, who was sitting quietly, avoiding eye contact. Oliver waited for Adam to introduce himself, but Adam refused to look at him. He knew that Oliver was the one who had brought him here against his will, and he didn't want to say anything to him.
Dean, who was annoyed by Adam's silence and rude behavior, took it upon himself to introduce Adam.
"And this ugly looking Hero called Adam Jones, he sometimes act like a bitch so don't mind him."
Adam, who was furious at Dean's remark, stood up and tried to hit him. Dean, however, was not about to let that happen. He quickly hid behind Jasem, who was sitting between them. Adam tried to reach him, but Jasem held him back. Dean laughed at Adam's attempts to hit him, and Adam was left feeling humiliated.
After calming down, Adam, who had been thinking about something for a few minutes, spoke up. He had been bothered by something that Oliver had said, and he wanted to get it off his chest.
"You said that you summoned us after so many failed attempts. I would like to know what happened to those people you failed to summon." Adam asked, his voice filled with curiosity and apprehension.
Adam looked directly at Oliver, who remained silent for a few moments. Oliver knew that Adam might get angry if he told him everything, so he took his time choosing his words carefully.
"As far as I know, nothing happened to them. They should be fine in their worlds since we were unable to bring them here." Oliver said, hoping that his words would reassure Adam.
Adam looked at Oliver's face and could tell that he wasn't telling the whole truth. He didn't say anything after that, knowing that Oliver wouldn't answer him directly. He looked away from Oliver, feeling frustrated and confused.
After traveling for minutes, the carriage pulled up to a small house in the countryside. The house was located a few kilometers outside of the city, and it was well-hidden from view. Oliver had chosen this location specifically because he didn't want anyone to know where the heroes were staying.
The heroes stepped out of the carriage and were amazed by the sight of the huge mansion that stood before them. The mansion was made of white marble and had a large garden in front of it. There were several maids and butlers standing on either side of the mansion, waiting to welcome them.
"Welcome Great Heroes!"
Oliver started walking, and the three followed behind him. Dean couldn't take his eyes off the maids, who were all beautiful and well-dressed. He couldn't believe that he was living in this place, with all these women serving him. He felt like a king.
Oliver turned around after they got inside. He didn't plan to stay here for long, so he started introducing the heroes to everyone. The three heroes stood beside him, looking a bit overwhelmed but also excited to meet everyone.
"Listen up, everyone. Before I say anything else, let me introduce you to the heroes. On my left, we have Dean. Next to him is Jasem, and on my right is Adam. These are the great heroes of our kingdom and the world. Please treat them with the same respect that you would treat the king himself.
After Oliver finished speaking, everyone bowed deeply in respect. They understood the importance of the heroes and knew that they should be treated with the utmost respect.
Oliver then brought the head butler, Hammam, to the heroes. "Hammam will be taking care of you from now on. If you need anything, please don't hesitate to ask him. He will do his best to bring it to you. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have urgent matters to attend to.
After he said that, Oliver bowed slightly to the heroes before he started to leave. He had to speak with his people at the church to prepare for the next day.
The three heroes stood alone, looking at each other in silence after Oliver left. Hammam approached them, interrupting their thoughts. "If you would follow me," he said, "I will escort you to your rooms."
Hammam turned around and was about to start walking away when Adam stopped him. "Wait," Adam said. "I have a question."
"I was wondering if there is a library in this place?" Adam asked, his eyes shining with curiosity.
Hammam nodded immediately, his eyes twinkling with amusement. "Of course," he said, pointing to a hallway on the left side of the hall. "The library is just down that way."
"Can you show it to me?" Adam asked, not wanting to get lost in the mansion. Hammam nodded, but then realized that he had to take care of Dean and Jasem first. He called over a maid who was standing nearby. "Please show this young man to the library," he said. The maid nodded and led Adam away.
Adam followed the maid, eager to learn as much as he could about this world. He knew that he would be staying here for a long time, and he wanted to be prepared.
Hammam led Dean and Jasem upstairs, and they followed him, their eyes wide with wonder. They couldn't believe that they would be living in this place from now on.
