Chapter 1 - The Beginning

.

.

.

In an area completely white, no noise could be heard, nothing could be seen for miles upon miles but a black spot that appears to be in the middle of the white void.

"My head and chest hurt so much" a voice could be heard coming from the black dot, upon closer inspection one could find a humanoid entity covered in a black substance coming from his chest that seemed to be floating there.

The entity opens its eyes and puts its hand on its head, "My head hurts like hell, huh?" The entity then seems to see its surroundings and notice the area it was in "What is this place?" the entity says in fear.

The entity reaches its arm out and as soon as it sees its arm it quickly brings its arm back.

It looks at its hand, seeming surprised at what it sees. "What is this black thing on my skin?" the entity then moves its hand close to the black substance. It touches and slowly pulls it off, and as it does the black substance appears to begin to latch on more to the skin. As the black substance does the entity feels nothing when the black substance latches back on.

"AAAH"

The entity begins to scream out as an unbearable pain pierces its skin, it grabs onto the part of the arm where the pain is and begins to squeeze it.

Minutes pass until the pain finally disappears from its arm, it begins to breathe uncontrollably as it begins to calm down "What is this place" the entity says as it looks around paying more attention, but could only see white everywhere.

The entity then tries to walk but as it does it begins to spin in a circle for a couple of minutes. "I feel sick," the entity says as it recuperates itself. It tries to walk once more, but this time more carefully.

For the next five or so minutes, or what the thing thinks is five minutes, it finally begins to walk or what should be a more precise term flailing its legs around. "I'm getting the hang of this- ow" it says as it kicks itself trying to walk properly.

"Where am I though, this doesn't seem like Earth unless someone made a room where there is no gravity, there is infinite space, and somehow made this black substance on my body painful to take off," the entity says while still looking around.

The entity then begins to "walk" in one direction. As it does it on several occasions spins itself on accident also making it puke, of course, if it could. It discovered that it couldn't when it spanned for, what it thought was twenty minutes.

It continued to walk and walk and walk. But found nothing but the color white around it.

It continued to walk for minutes, to hours, to days, then what it thinks is years.

The entity then stops walking and screams out loud. "I'm tired of this walking and I'm tired of only seeing the color white in this whole dang space, and I'm tired of this black substance that continually moves on my skin." As the entity says in the last part of the sentence it grabs and reaches the center of the black mass of goop and tries to yank it out.

"AAAAAH"

The entity begins to scream out as it could feel the black substance latching onto its chest, then arm, then fingers until it finally got off its body.

*Gasp*

The great takes a deep breath of air as it felt ten times the pain it felt the first time. "It's off me. FINALLY" the entity says as it raises its arm to the air and says with excitement. The entity then looks around and sees the black substance slowly disintegrating into the white abyss. "That's what you get you little annoyance," the entity says while pointing and laughing at the disappearing black substance.

As the substance finally disappears into nothingness the entity looks in the same spot and sighs. "I'm alone I guess," it says as it huddles itself in a ball and falls asleep.

.

.

.

*whoosh*

The entity wakes up to an unexpected noise as it only slept for what it thinks was two minutes.

The entity looks for the noise and sees nothing, "it's probably me moving my hand close to my ear making the noise out of nowhere." The entity says to itself as it dozes off into its dream world.

*bang*

The entity wakes up once more from an unexpected hit in its chest. It looks down and notices where the black substance used to be is not something white coming out of it. The entity, shocked, stays still for a couple of seconds and sees that the white thing is moving around its body just like the black substance.

The entity touches it feeling a slight sting on its finger when it touches the white substance. It thought back to the black substance and remembered that it felt nothing when it touched it.

"I wonder what happens if I pull this thing as well" It then begins to grab it and yank on it. What it felt was the opposite of the black substance as the black one brought pain and uneasiness to it when it was yanked. This one brought a sense of relief and the clearance of its mind when it was yanked.

"I wonder what happens if I fully yank this off," it thought to itself, but just stopped bothering it and continued to walk forward.

The only time that it ever paid attention to the white substance again was when it felt like giving up. When it felt like this it would peel a bit of the white substance off its skin and continue to walk.

As it walked it noticed that, unlike the black one that would always latch itself onto the skin the white one would not but just float around it as if it were little clouds. I sort of liked it since it would no longer get bored of walking around anymore and can turn it into shapes and items from its world.

Two years passed and the entity seemed to be surrounded by more white clouds to the point where it could lie on it and sleep for a bit while moving. The entity looked around it once again only seeing the same old white void.

The entity reaches for its chest once again but feels nothing on it. It moves its hand around its chest as if looking for something. The entity stands up and starts patting itself while looking around its body only to grab a small white cloud on its chest. "This is the last one left," it says as it looks at the last white puff on its chest "I knew this day would come, time to see what it does." As the entity says this it rips off the last small portion of fluff of its chest and puts it on its cloud.

As the last puff of white substance leaves its chest the nearby puffs begin to disintegrate. "What no, don't leave my clouds" The entity then begins to grab the white puffs hoping that they wouldn't disappear like the rest. In the end, they all disappeared.

"I'm sad now." The entity says as it sits on the ground and curls into a ball. It begins to doze off until it hears a noise
