The day was like any other day in the Gremmen mansion. The maids were working, the chefs were cooking, and most of the family was training.
Even though it was a normal day something seemed off in that mansion. No little six-year-old Kay was running throughout the mansion for his usual training. Instead, he was in his assigned room for his new training.
Soon enough, a maid came to deliver food to the door as they have for the last few days since he has not left the room due to his training on his body.
Nobody knew what body method he was doing but some could guess the smell of blood and the worried faces of most of the higher Leveled family members.
The maid placed the food on the floor and knocked three times and waited for the young Kaiden's okay. Though as a few minutes passed she heard no such answer, This led her to believe something might have happened and she hurriedly opened the door just to find a gory mess!
The floor and walls had blood covering them. There was glass vials with multi-colored blood sat on a shelf of orange, blue, brown, grey, yellow, black, and white. One for each and every element.
If all of the blood wasn't bad enough she then saw a little Kaiden lying on the ground with multiple long cuts on his body, letting blood leave his body. She saw some weird current enter his body at the same time for every bit of blood that left his body the current would enter his body slowly changing it forever.
Kaiden laid there smiling while being completely focused on doing the technique he learned from the scroll making sure that nothing could interfere with it. If he let up before his body healed everything could go wrong.
He could hear everything outside even the hyperventilating maid about to lose consciousness.
He paid her no mind for his body was about to start its healing process which had gotten a bit faster than usual.
'Well, I guess it should be expected my body with start to heal faster, especially with such insignificant damages. I would say my old body would match a level 4 if I guess how the power scaling would work.' Kaiden got lost in thought.
While he was thinking about his new body he felt the maid start to get closer. He normally would not do anything but he got a feeling that made him smile as he would when he was Jay.
A feeling of someone looking at you like you are prey, but it suddenly vanished causing his smile to vanish as well, then a familiar presence appeared.
"Hello, Father, where has the maid gone?" Kaiden knew but decided to play dumb as his body was almost healed.
"She had duties to attend to. Your body has progressed nicely, it should almost be time for the next phase, correct?" Liam asked.
"Yes, the vials needed are collected as well," Kaiden responded.
Their talk ended just as Kaiden completely healed and stood up while his father was leaving.
'This body training method is decently similar to what I needed to do as Jay, how funny.' Kaiden chuckled to himself.
'I'll rest up and continue the training.' his resolve strengthening
Kaiden needed to open many cuts and let his blood leave in exchange for the Elemental Air to enter his body and strengthen his bones, skin, blood, and organs.
When doing so he needs to fill one vial with his blood that has been infused with one element changing the color. This makes it an ectoplasm of that element infused with him. In the final of the training method, it with once again be infused with him giving him a resistance against those elements.
Kaiden decided to leave and eat before he continued. While he was walking toward the dining hall he saw his older brother.
He was going to ignore him, however, his brother stopped him. As they were side by side looking in opposite directions his brother decided to say what was on his mind.
"I think everyone has too much faith in their so-called family 'prodigy', so I'm going to show everyone that I will be the one to be the head of this family."
Kaiden didn't look at Jocke, he just sighed and spoke, "Brother, I do not have a quarrel with you, there is no reason for us to fight over something I do not want to have."
A twitch happened in Jocke when he heard Kaiden say he didn't want the be the patriarch of the family.
"For both of our sakes do not do this brother," Kaiden told him before he started walking again.
'I won't say what things you have been trying to do just keep out of my area is all I ask brother.'
As he got a few feet away he heard a shout from behind him.
"I challenge you brother! A fight to show who deserves the chance to be the one praised!" Jocke said with his eyes bloodshot in anger.
'This world tests my patience, does it wish for me to destroy what it has created and make new life when I become a God?' Kaiden thought in anger of his patience being tried by everything on this world so far.
"Fine, when do you wish for the fight to happen then brother?" Kaiden spoke in a deeper tone.
"When you are to finish your body's training, so as to make it fair," Jocke spoke with a crooked smile.
Kaiden nodded and went to eat as his thoughts grew heavier. 'I will become the best, no, I will become the perfect being meant to ascend whatever challenge appears to annoy me."
Even he did not notice how different his personality had changed.
