" I'll see you later Cathy."William said and walked away.
Anthony reached the mansion by three in the morning because he had stopped at the office. He saw that everyone was asleep and went to his own room to rest.
------
MONDAY MORNING
Everyone in the house came out of their rooms at the same time. Well, everyone except Anthony. The guy was already serving the dishes he had prepared for everyone.
"Good morning dad." the children greeted and he responded. Lia, looked at him, didn't say anything and just went to sit down on the couch in the living room.
Anthony ignored her and gave his attention to his kids as he started serving them breakfast. Seeing that Anthony was the one serving the children, Lia's anger reduced. She said in her mind ' he must have stayed out late severally for him to calm them down with cooking special breakfasts for them. Who am I to judge? It was why he employed me in the first place. I'm here dying of hunger while the ones that are supposed to be angry are enjoying their father's food. '
"Guys, Julius and Porter will come very soon to take you out to the park. Lia, please get them ready." he said and went upstairs to his room.
" Tch. Who does he think he is? Ordering me around." Lia murmured feeling irritated.
" Obviously, your boss."Lucy whispered from behind surprising her. " Maybe I should tie a bell around your neck to avoid you sneaking up on me next time."Lia said and stood up.
" Where you going? "Lucy asked
" Didn't you hear what your dad said? "Lia questioned and then she mimicked Anthony, saying "Guys, Julius and Porter will come very soon to take you out to the park. Lia, please get them ready" she even demonstrated how he walked when he was climbing up the stairs. She noticed that Lucy was not following her and turned back to look at her "Well come along. Time waits for no man. And I don't want your father's troubles today. I'm not in the mood."and with that, Lia went upstairs not caring if Lucy followed her or not.

LIA'S POV
"I had waited for the damn guy that called himself Anthony Cash throughout last night and I suspected that Lucy did not realize when she slept off because I saw her bedside lamp on while I passed by the room.
The poor girl must have been too tired to even turn off the lights. And I was too tired as well to even check the time as I heard the sound of Anthony's car drive into the in-built garage. I knew that Lucy gave school as an excuse to retire to bed because all schools were on holidays and this morning, Anthony just announced that they were going out to the park and the kids didn't look surprised. He must have done this severally for them to be used to it.
Poor kids. Don't got Mama's love and papa's not always at home. I just hope that they don't end up like me. Well, I'm sure they won't unless they get a wicked stepmom like mine. Which I'm sure Lucy will not tolerate.
Away from those thoughts, I just finished getting the kids dressed and ready to leave the house. The men Anthony talked about were already in the sitting room by the time I sent the kids down as I refused to follow them down even though I'm supposed to send them off as their nanny. Which reminds me of the real reason Anthony employed me. To use me in order to bring my father down. Which has been the type of life I've been living, me being used by people for their selfish desires and aims. Okay, right now, I need some wine or alcohol to clear my mind.
"Breathe" I didn't realize I said this one out until I heard an unfamiliar voice say.
"You do need to breathe. You look like you're gonna faint soon." And I turned to look at the owner of the voice, meeting a pair of bright green eyes that was similar to the color of a freshly mowed lawn. I don't think I've ever seen that color of Iris. I took another deep breath and as I was about asking who he was, what came out of my mouth was "Your eyes…"
"I'm Tonio's brother. " he said and I realized what I said. But wait. Did he say brother?
Brother?
