'Returning home after five good years of staying away hadn't been an easy task for me, it was taking a bullet, nonetheless, it wasn't my first time taking one... i felt so empty and just wanted to keep as faraway as possible from everything. I wanted to just go back out there than return home to nothing. It felt cold and so lonely. I literally turned into a nightmare and threat that they had to drive me away or i was going to destroy them all. I couldn't let myself be tamed.'
Dressed in an army uniform with his bag drapped over his shoulder, his realese paper was issued to him. Looking at this piece 0f paper, he scoffed coldly...this was not yet over
"Nice holiday captain."said the issuing officer.
Giving off a smile he nodded "sure, I'll see you around." He turned to leave the office only to run into his comrades who looked so ugly because of their gloomy expressions.
"Must you do this captain?!" his second in command, Edward asked sadly.
.
Smiling, he tapped his shoulder and grasped it tightly and looked at the other gloomy faces. He knew they were sad but they needn't be because it wasn't gonna help anyway "be good boys, I won't be around to tame you." he proceeded to leave without looking back.
Members from his regime escorted him up until the gates crying silently that others had snot. They didn't dare make a sound afraid of being beaten to death by their captain, he was a leader but before that, he was their big brother, a brother anyone would dream of having.
Hailing a cab, he got in and immediately closed his eyes to keep his emotions in.
"Where would you like to go sir?" asked the driver.
"Anywhere, faraway."he said lazily.
"Okay sir." the driver started the engine right away and driving off. He somehow understood as there were times one needed a new environment and sometime alone.
Driving for a whole day, when the sun set and the night hours drifted in, the driver stopped in a town.
In a respectful tone, he called out the soldier "Sir.....sir" he called out to the sleeping passenger. Seeing him stir and wake up, he smiled and politely. "i can't drive any further than this."
"hmmmm oh, okay. How much?"
"It's...ahhh..." he was puzzled, he had forgotten to set the meter. Not that he was the forgetful type, no, but this man's aura was pressuring.
Pulling out a bundle of money from his bag, he gave it all to the driver who froze the moment he saw the money. "sir i.... it's too much. I can't take it." He stammered.
"I need to change and am going to have to trouble you for that. Also you have beautiful daughters." he looked at a small girls picture smiling as he changed into less eye catching clothes. It was a pair of blue jeans and a black hoodie.
"Yeah they are such angels. I wake up everyday hoping to bring a smile on their faces and give them an abundant life". the driver couldn't help chuckling.
After changing into simple clothes, he got out looking a changed person. "What city is this?!"
"Oh this is city B."
"hmmmm okay. thanks for the ride." he said and left. This place had changed alot, not that he knew much of it since he hardly walked about...he was always away in his lare.
Inhaling deeply, he walked a few blocks to end up at a property agency which was JG property agency. It was a five storeys lavish building with acient sophiscated architecture, making his way to the basement parking lot, he went further into the building to the underground elevator.
Slipping his hand to obtain his phone, he made a phone call. "Hello." his flat voice sounded distant.
"Who's this?!" the other person sounded vexed.
"Am coming to collect my favour." said the soldier flatly.
"Jason!!!!!!"
"Yes James?"
"Yo....Your back?" The young man fell off his lavish swril office chair with a loud bang, shock was an understatement for the 26 year old James Williams who grinned foolishly despite being sprawled down on the floor messily.
If any of his surbodinates saw him like this they'd definately face slap themselves at his posture but did James even give a damn!, Hell no...his dear warm ice cream cousin was back and he even didn't give a damn about getting himself off the floor. 'So cool.' admiration was what described him now that he didn't notice how long he had lay on the cold floor.
Soon he heard a knock on the door which made him dash to open it and on seeing the person out, he froze a bit and on gaining his senses, he jumped on Jason to hug him but James ended up hugging the floor. He groaned in pain at kissing the floor
'My teeth...' he whined while his beloved cousin walked past him with the least concern. Throwing his duffle bag in the leather couch, he went to make himself coffee which he brought back and sat comfortably in the couch.
Wearing a sullen expression for being wronged, James went to grab some ice to relieve the pain that almost tore his existence apart. "Your so mean brother." he murmured.
"I've seen enough ugly faces already so you better smile while am still being good or I'll beat the crap out of you." His expression was flat but playfulness lingered in his eyes.
Sitting behind his office chair, James kept dabbling ice on his lips as he continued to glare at Jason. "Alright...I'm sorry!" Jason finally gave in. "Come here, this big brother will hug you."
James jumped and came to receive his hug and his sullen expression died that instant. After their long reunion, James got back to business.
"Bro, your back so soon. What happened?!"
"Nothing out of the ordinary."
"You mean blowing off the seniors heads is 'nothing out of the ordinary'???."
"I need a place to stay."
"Go home!!!" roared James but looking at the glare from him he toned down "sorry. I mean, am on it. How faraway?" he asked. Why doesn't he just go to his Black mansion?? What a bother!!!
"Very."
"Ok." After typing a few things on his laptop, he turned back to Jason. "There's this property i bought not long ago, don't know if it would be to your liking?"
"Address?" After getting what he needed, he stood up and left, making James run after him, "brother, why don't you stay the night and leave tomorrow?"
"Good night." was all he said and walked away leaving a puzzled James 'Did I really have to be so dense, now i sent him away.' Don't invite Jason...that's like asking him to go away!!!!
