" Is that so? Why don't you just tell him that the baby in your belly, is the same baby that was killed during the Cosmos war? Both of them turned towards the source of these words and found Sirena looking at them calmly as she stood by the door.
"I think it's okay for you to tell him the truth now," Sirena piped up as she glanced at Bella. "Your baby came back to life, Bella."
My baby...My baby came back to life?
"Sirena..." Bella called out her name. "Is it true?.." she started as she moved away from Dylan to go to her. She held Sirena's hands, her eyes welling as she slowly asked. "Did my baby finally..."
Sirena stared into her eyes.
"Yes, Bella," she answered and Bella broke down from utter joy. "Your baby came back to life."
Tears began to flow from Bella's eyes. She was in a trance, utterly shocked.
"Came back to life? What do you mean Sirena?" Dylan, who was silent all this time, asked her with his brows furrowed. He was getting a bad feeling about this.
"The baby in Bella's belly now is the same baby that got killed during Cosmos war. All these years she has been carrying the dead baby in her womb, without aborting it and stubbornly trying to revive it using that forbidden spell. And you know that every forbidden practice has a price to pay." Sirena sighed as she looked at Dylan.
Hearing her, he remembered how Bella looked that night when she accidentally killed the baby in her womb during the war. He didn't even know at that time, that she was pregnant. And now, he could feel her pain, her sorrow, her shock and it ripped his heart. He thought he had experienced the worst kind of pain when she disappeared after the war but he was wrong. That pain couldn't even begin to compare to the indescribable pain she experienced. Right? The price...
"What...What about the price she has to pay? What is it?" Dylan asked, fear and dread gripping his heart as he waited for the answer.
"I don't know..." Bella who was silent all the time spoke and Dylan slowly turned towards her.
"Don't know?.." His devastated face frowned in confusion. And Bella's heart pained looking at the despair on Dylan's face.
"Bella, what do you mean. You don't know?.." Dylan began to question. He was feeling utterly confused with everything that was happening.
"You did the forbidden spell, even though you didn't know what the price is? Are you out of your mind?" Dylan held Bella's shoulders and squeezed it slightly.
" Listen, Dylan." Bella started, her eyes filled with tears. She knew she had to tell him. Dylan deserved to know everything. Now that her baby was alive, it's okay for him to know. He can't stop her now anyway.
" That was the only way to save my baby at that time. And I knew that you would never allow me to do that forbidden spell, so I had to leave you. And, isn't everything fine now? My baby came back to life now." Bella said as she squeezed Dylan's hands. No words left Dylan's mouth. Bella did the forbidden spell and as the price for that, she might even...
Dylan shook his head.
"You could die, Bella!!! And did you forget what happened to Sedna when she did the forbidden act in the past? Her lover came back to life, but what about Sedna? She was destroyed completely and it took her this long to come back. Are you going to destroy yourself like her?" Dylan snapped, his eyes turned red with anger and disbelief.
" Don't worry. Nothing's going to happen to me and, even if I die, I would die happily for my baby." Bella paused and declared, stubbornness and certainty filled her eyes as she looked at Dylan.
" Then, what will happen to me? You were ready to die for a baby who was not even born yet. And what about me?"Dylan asked and Bella looked away as she bit her inner lip. She couldn't say anything. And isn't he happy whoring around? Why is he acting as if he cares about her now? Bella pursed her lips and refused to look at him.
" Great! You didn't even think about me even for a second, did you?" Dylan finally voiced out, after a long while. And then, he stared at her in stony silence.
"Fine! If that's what you want." He hissed and then left the chamber.

Cara was greeted by the sight of the chamber's ceiling as soon as she opened her eyes. She looked around and found Sedna still asleep.
She looked at her for some time, disoriented in her thoughts when she heard a noise from outside. She frowned and rose, wanting to check what was happening.
Cara left the chamber after making sure that Sedna is fine and walked in the direction from where the noise is coming.
Soon, she reached near the chamber from where the noises were coming and saw a man dashing out of the chamber and he disappeared. She found the man a little familiar but before she could figure out who the man was, a woman came running from the same chamber as if she was looking for the man who left earlier.
" He left," Cara said and walked to the woman. Hearing her voice, the woman turned around and Cara raised her brows as she recognized the woman.
"Bella?"

I know it may be a little creepy about a mother carrying a dead baby in her womb for many years but I got inspired by an ancient fairy tale, in my home land.
In our custom, a deity we pray, also carried a baby in her womb for centuries before she gave birth to it. It was an age-old tale, that my ancestors and every person in my homeland believes. So, I hope it is not too creepy.
