Chapter 9 - Chapter: Uncle Zile

Instead of Jaxson, Amelia looked up and raised an eyebrow. Her eyes deep, dark and clear showing the fire burning inside.

Elder Zile got shaken to the core...!!

He just thought that there was a slight possibility that it was not the person he thought of. But it the the same person.

After getting the message- [Hiya uncle! Waiting for you at your house..with my little brother] he suspected that something was wrong.

So, just to assure himself, he went to check on Jaxon. But as he arrived at the mansion, his doubts stared molding into reality.

But he could never mistake those deep pheonix eyes. They reassembled his father's, his brother's and his nephew's.

How did he not get this information before... How did he not know that his own neice was alive??!

He taken aback. "Amelia?!" he responded involuntarily. His eyes wide open and his mouth dropped. His look even surprised Butler Zile.

He had seen too many shocking things...

Young Master was happy, He even made a dish, this girl's arrogant resemblance with Young Master, Her asking to throw a knife and then catching it safely, Her guns and way she managed to call Elder Zile over...

To put it this way then the appearance on Elder Zile's face was totally considered the new normal.

"Finally" Amelia spoke casually as she threw the phone.

"You know I was actually getting tired from beating all the levels and setting new high scores for three consecutive games in row" Her movements sharp and steady.

"Jaxson! go to your room!" said Elder Zile coming back to his senses, in a commanding tone.

"Why should I?" sneered Jaxon, finally sitting up but reluctant to let go of Amelia's hand.

"Jaxson..?!" Elder Zile frowned..What had gotten in this man? He never spoke to him like this.

"Speak" Amelia interuppted him before he said anything.

Understanding the the anger in them, he let him stay. He still didn't dare look into Amelia's deep eyes, which held the power to dart his heart.

"Alright!" Elder Zile nodded showing his agreement.

"So.. explain" said Jaxson arrogantly.

Elder Zile originally wanted to scold him but he couldn't do so as long as Amelia was around. He reluctantly surppressed his anger.

"Hmm..It stared with our father. He was also a science madman and was naturally involved in the inter state science battles during the Bordering..."

Amelia and Jaxson's grandpa was also behind the creation of the Mutating Zombie cells. They created something that was science fiction just a second earlier.

But unfortunately the project had leaked from the laboratory. It resulted in rapid spread of the disease in California.

The Zombies that emerged were tested in laboratories. They had no hunger, no movement and only when some kind of sound was produced were the cells activated.

And only when the freshmen cells or unharmed cells were around that they would show movement and attack.

The scientists behind the project were the first who were grasped by the cells. Since, the scientists created mutational cells, the zombies would mutate over time.

But out the unexpected, the zombie bites were ineffective on their Grandfather. He turned out to be immune to the zombies.

The government association gave him a chance to create antidote for the disease. He succeeded. It was limited to a certain time limit but it still worked.

After this, he earned government association's trust and came to about the circumstances in other states. So he started studying them as well.

He created antidote for almost all the widespread diseases but by that time it was mostly too late. So shifted the experiments to an island.

But this island was special. The flora and fauna on this island exceeded the expectations of human brains. It has a zillion legends.. alive.

Elder Zile paused and poured himself a glass of water. He took a deep breath but before he could continue...

"Sister..It is said that the people here were willing to co-operate but the creatures weren't. So they cursed the people who would enter after this day and said the natural bloodline for the center would decide the fate of humanity." Jaxson interuppted Elder Zile.

"Where was I?" asked Elder Zile glancing at Jaxson.

Jaxson ignored his uncle. How could his uncle not know that his sister didn't care about this..she only wanted to know what he also asked only so many times.

They already knew what their grandpa did since young. He always told them the truth, what but just made him not tell them where he was going in the end!

Amelia patted Jaxson's head lightly and she stared annoyingly at Elder Zile..but without waiting for a response he continued.

"So, after setting up basic necessaities, the government association worked on other making ways for survivors come to the island..."

"Enough" Amelia clearly looked annoyed and frustrated but this time Jaxson let go of her and didn't stop her "Where's Grandpa?"

"He's gone..." Elder Zile put down his glass of water but on closer inspection it was clear that his hands were trembling.

"Who's the head of this place?" Amelia paused for a while before asking.

"It's his friend and the researcher teammate.." Elder Zile replied calmly

"Shut up!" Amelia stood up from her seat in anger and placed the knife in one of her pockets. She picked up her bag and went upstairs. Jaxson also followed.

They parted ways on the second floor and went to their rooms. She both swiped their and verified their pupils and locked the doors.

DOWNSTAIRS..

The Butlers, the Manager and the staff stood rooted to the place. Their pale faces with shocked expressions.

Who treats Elder Zile like that??!
