Well, they all got a clear answer!
His Neice and Nephew, ofcourse, Who else?
They were the only ones who could ignore him and be this arrogant and ruthless to him, despite him being the the Mayor of ULE.
The Mayor quickly shook of his and acted calmly as if nothing happened and this was usual. He didn't lose his temperament.
"Please, everyone return to your assigned works" said the Mayor.
Even though he appeared calm on the the outside, his heart was trembling not because the the girl was bossy and cold but because of her past.
He knew she was from but how was she able to hack into the his phone and also scared his crew out of breath.
But he remembered Jaxson. Ofcourse, why didn't he think about this earlier. Jaxson had many connections, it was probably him.
Then his thoughts shifted. He didn't worry about how she survived but instead worried if she had proper etiquettes and if she even knows how to read.
Even though he heard Jaxson saying that Amelia had completed all levels of three games continuously, he didn't believe them.
'They were definitely joking'
She was cold, impatient and reckless. She looked beautiful but with had an imposing temperament. It would have been okay if it was Jaxson, but ladies are supposed to be calm, patient, caring and delicate.
The ladies of high families like theirs were especially known for their smartness and a friendly temperaments.
'Amelia would be a disgrace for the Zile family'
_______
AT THE SAME TIME...
AMELIA'S ROOM...
Amelia's room was definitely better then the guest room she was staying in earlier. It was all sweet and pink and warm and welcoming...
It was the worst nightmare for Amelia!!
But this room had walls painted black and a print of images of red skulls and a big neon one printed on the roof.
Amelia emptied her bag out carelessly. She took the the diary looked at it's cover for a while. Even though she had an expressionless face and concealed her expressions quite well, her heart felt heavy.
She felt sad and depressed but somewhere she felt felt angry too...
Her Grandfather just left one morning without an explanation, without any goodbyes. He was very mysterious even at home.
Even though he told her the truth, there always seemed to be something else he always knew but didn't mention.
He left three things to her that day- His Diary, A Star-shaped Stone and A Necklace with her initials. She didn't knew there importance them as she thought he would come back as he always did.
So, she waited. One day. One week, One year...Seven years passed. He did not return. He did not contact. He didn't leave a single message.
But she still had hope. If she had lost hope then she wouldn't be here at all. She was more than comfortable at her old home California.
She came here to search for her Grandfather. As a result she came to know to know that her long foretold as dead brother- was alive.
Who knows what else was hidden from them?
She relaxed after a while and opened the diary. It had a royal blue cover and was about the size of her hand. It's pages were plain white with detailed gold embroidery like in a cloth.
There was a symbol of a burning feather on each page embroided, neat and elegant...
She flipped through it. Most would say she is carelessly going through but infact she actually read all key points marked on each page.
With all the time she spent looking at the dairy endlessly when she was bored, she could remember every single word on every single page.
She habit of going to libraries in California even with zombies around just to read books and figure out the meaning of what was written on the diary.
It had all kinds of chemical formulas, biological changes and mathematical equations...so had read every possible book on each of those subjects.
Amelia flipped continuously until she stopped at the last page. It had nothing on it but a simple yet confusing double meaning sentence.
"If there is birth then there's death as well and if there's a devil than there is an angel too. The people will believe in the one you believe in"
"Why does he always loved puzzles?" Amelia spoke annoyed.
She got up steadily walking towards her bed. She put the locker just beside her bed. She took a deep breath whilst looking around.
She hung a few photos. One of her whole family together, one of her and Jaxson when they were seven and eight and one of them with their grandparents.
She hung three more pictures but they were completely black...
Later she just dropped on the bed, exhausted. It was black silk bedsheet and a grey blanket also a silk cloth. It was soft and comforting.
It gave a feeling of home...
Cosy and warm...
Just then she jolted up from her bed, angered. Her hands on her brows trying to relax herself. 'How could she forget?'
She just remembered about the vaccine they injected her with. She was so caught up in the family problems that she almost forgot.
She went back to her bag and opened the only zip that she hadn't opened earlier. She took out the empty vaccine bottle.
It was the one she stole from them while they thought she was angry with the man to to inject her unexpectedly.
Actually it wouldn't be a problem if he had just told her what she was injected with but he had to do it the hard way.
She checked it's label. It had no discription neither what contents it was made up of. No marked price or expiry date.
She then remembered that she had fainted just some time later after she was injected but it was no drug.
It had a same symbol that her Grandpa's diary had. The exact same replica. Not a single thing different.
"Looks like my Grandpa's friend wants a visit" Amelia said to herself grinning.
