"Is this news true?" asked Carlos of Mr. Oscar. He was about to leave for the governor's residence. Mr. Oscar had just told Carlos that they had won the project located in his own city.
"Of course it's true!" exclaimed Mr. Oscar, in a voice which could be heard all the way to Carlos's place. "We can repay our debts," said his father again. "Imagine if we won about ten more projects with this number, we wouldn't have to beg that bitch!" Mr. Oscar's voice turned vicious.
Carlos massaged the base of his nose.
