Luis let go of me as he patted my back when I saw Jennifer glancing over at us curiously and for a second I thought it was Karen that liked him. The game started and it lasted for more than an hour and during the game, Luis was breaking down to me how the game was playing out, and why the team didn’t get the score on certain plays. We clipped with the crowd when our team scored and once it was down to the last point our school won the match by a landslide. Luis had to leave to regroup with the team and we got up getting ready to leave the building.
“I’ll see you guys on Monday,” I said as I parted ways with them.
“Alright!” they said and made they’re way out of school grounds.
I stayed where I was until Elliot walked over after coming out from the locker room and he smiled, “We won!”
“Congrats,” I replied as we made our way towards the parking lot.
“So, ready to go on the date you asked?” He said as he unlocked his car.
