Chapter 7 - CHAPTER: 7 Choreographed By Fate

As they entered through the school's entrance, the ambient murmur of students and the rhythmic footsteps created a symphony of daily life. Amidst the routine shuffle of students entering the school, an unexpected twist infused a touch of intrigue into the mundane scene. Without warning, a figure vaulted over the barricade at the gate, using Sana's unsuspecting form as a momentary support.

The landing was surprisingly smooth, and as Sana and the mysterious person exchanged a quick glance, a subtle connection sparked. The everyday sounds continued, but in that instant, the entrance became the backdrop for an impromptu exchange of smiles and unspoken understanding. It was a charming interruption, a fleeting moment that added a hint of unexpected depth to their otherwise ordinary day.

"Suguru, do you know him?" Sana asked Suguru.

"Why do you ask?"

"I have never seen him in school before"

" He is our upperclassman. He transferred this year. And don't get involved with him. He looks like a delinquent." he said.

They both went into the classroom without any further ado. It was break time. Sana and Suguru went out to have lunch.

In the school garden during the lunch break, a 15/16 year-old named Akagi Shigeru stood out with his distinctive presence. He possessed a lean yet powerful physique, sculpted through dedicated kickboxing training. His silver-grey hair, tied into a ponytail, caught the sunlight, and visible tattoos hinted at a story etched on his skin. With a daring neck tattoo and focused eyes, he exuded an air of mystery.

The casual grace with which Shigeru wore his uniform, including the slightly open top buttons, added a touch of rebellious charm. As he stood amidst a circle of admiring girls, the atmosphere was charged with a subtle blend of admiration and curiosity.

Earlier that morning, Shigeru had made a memorable entrance by leaping over a barricade with surprising agility. Now, in the midst of this, Sana, accompanied by Suguru, became an unintentional focal point for him. However, Suguru, observing the scene, couldn't help but feel uneasy. He harbored concerns about Shigeru's image, wary of Sana getting close to what he perceived as potentially bad influences.

As Shigeru's gaze lingered in Sana's direction, Suguru's knowing smile transformed into a subtle frown. The garden, bathed in the warm glow of the midday sun, held not only the promise of unspoken connections but also the potential for conflict and guarded intentions. The stage was set for a nuanced narrative, where Suguru's protective instincts clashed with the magnetic pull of Shigeru's enigmatic charm, the boy who had made a daring morning entrance into their lives.

Suguru took Sana away from there without letting her know the reason.

Now in the P.E. lecture the whole class went out. Sana encountered those girls in the ground. She tried to avoid them as much as she could.

Sana hadn't trained for over a month now. she had to resume the practice so that she could catch up the pace. Every student was doing something.

In her absence Sana was promoted to the rank of captain of Track and Fields.

So she had to do a lot of paper work and other tasks regarding various teams and clubs in the track and field category.

As she crouched down to examine the track lines, a deep and resonant voice chimed in from behind, "Hey! Are you Nakamura?" The richness of the voice, both commanding and friendly, gave a touch of character to the straight forward question. It was the kind of voice that effortlessly caught attention.

While Sana turned to discover who was speaking. She was shocked to see it was the same individual from earlier in the morning.

"I'm Akagi Shigeru, third year, part of the kickboxing club. Do you happen to have the keys to the locker room? The P.E. teacher mentioned they might be with you," Shigeru casually mentioned as he stood in front of her.

Caught slightly off guard by his request, Sana found herself momentarily at a loss for words. Her cheerful demeanor belied a difficulty in communicating with people beyond her close circle—parents, Suguru, his mother and a couple of classmates. Shigeru, on the other hand, was, by consensus, the most handsome guy in the entire school. So it was obvious she couldn't collect words to talk to him.

Amidst a subtle pause, she replied without looking at him while pretending to check the lines "Oh, uh, keys? Yes, I think I have them," her words were accompanied by a shy but friendly demeanor. she searched her pockets and handed him the keys.

Shigeru nodded appreciatively, his presence easing the potential awkwardness. "Great, thanks. By the way, I couldn't help but notice your dedication to checking these lines. Are you into track and field?"

Sana, though still somewhat reserved, felt a genuine warmth in Shigeru's interest. " I was just checking if they were alright, as juniors have their selection competition tomorrow. By the way I'm Nakamura Sana. Nice to meet you Akagi kun" she replied but still a bit shy.

"Nice to meet you Sana," Shigeru said with a charming smile,"You can call me Shigeru, that would make me happy," he went away from there without any further conversation.

Sana was still unable to grasp what happened,

Before she could think further she was called by Suguru.

In the last two lectures she did her training and even an additional one hour after that. Sitting on the cemented bleachers surrounding the ground, waiting under the tree shade Suguru completed his work and revised today's classwork.

As soon as she finished. They both left from there. Sana had to go to her training as well, as her coach would be upset with her because of her extended leave. She bid bye to Suguru and headed for coaching after having lunch and some water. She didn't had a heavy lunch because of the training.
