Chapter 16 - Chapter 14 - Laila Pendragon

There wasn't a double update yesterday ;~;

Also, i wanted to make it clear that Lewin's appearance on the globe is the as the cover's

====================

Lewin silently stared at the globe for a moment with a frown.

"What the fuck did i just say?" He asked himself.

After seeing that Laila wasn't showing many signs of life after getting past the fourth trial, Lewin though that instead of leaving her there to rot on the sun, he would go and wake her up instead.

After using a bit of Soul Essence to estabilize her brain he made a improvised body made out of Soul Essence, but lewin had never used Soul Essence to create living being, so in the end the body didn't develop a voice nor an appearance, and was just a combinations of lots of souls he had absorbed.

But he still went up with it to the globe. He was already pissed enough after spending 6.4% soul essence to keep Laila Alive, and now he had to give himself the WORK of creating a proper body to talk to her? That was a no go.

His main objectives goin there were to make a little fun of the "Sleeping Princcess" Laila, and huff her.

But when she came up and asked for who he was, his brain went completely blank and he just answered the most random thing that poppen on his head.

"The Great one...?" Laila asked with weak voice.

Lewin sighed. 'Well, now gotta i deal with my shit'

"Indeed, i am Great. But you on the other hand, is pathetic" He said, throwing a judging glare at her.

At the glade, ainvisible force left Lewin's Soul Essence body and shot towards Laila forming a gust of winds.

The wind moved so fast, the it didn't even gave Laila enough time to process it coming and sge just noticed what happened when said gust of wind hit the ground around her making it crack and break

Laila just looked at her sides where the broken rocks were and she imediately was sure. This creature, whatever it may be, is far stronger than the dragon she met earlier, because the dragon ahd to atleast TOUCH something for it to break, but tis creature before her broke the ground around her with a simple glare;

Laila swallowed her saliva.

Lewin saw Laila's reaction and started to slowly walk circles around her and he spoke up.

"You position is pathetic, how DARE you, someone with MY blessing, of all things, lay on the ground like a lifeless corpose, after waking it?" Lewin said in a deep voice.

"Your blessing...? Waking it...? Co-Could it be, you're the one that helped me on the Altar" Laila asked after pondering about it for a while, and quikly turned towards Lewin for answers, just for him to disappear from where he was and reappear behind her, leaving her even more speechless.

"And also the one that blessed you with that control over your body." Lewin had never said so much bulshit in his entire life, Laila's control over he body was a inborn ability, he had nothing to do with that, he said it because he liked to lie.

Laila was confused for a bit, but after thinking about her past, she remembered that ever since she was born, she could already crawl, and her body developed at an allarming rate over her teen years.

The control she had over he body was so absurd, that doing handstands was no diferent from standing up. She had already consulted doctors in almost all cities and and villages she went while adventuring, but none of them could explain how that was possible.

So that was how, it was a blessing!

After the information entered her head Laila started to hiperventilate, so it was truth. She was very happy right now, to think that in the end she had something special in her. She looked at Lewin again to talk more, but meeting her was Lewin's faking a disgusted face as he looked at her hiperventilating.

Laila noticed it and placed a hand on her chest, trying to calm down. After calming down enough she slowly turned towards Lewin with a serious face and spoke up.

"So... If you're the great one... And also the one that blessed me.... Wouldn't that make you god?" She asked expectantly.

"One of them, yes" Lewin was stupid, but he was also cautious, it was clear that he couldn't help himself in the future, and would end up interfering with it, but because he wasn't confident in his memory to keep creating the same body again and again in the future, so if he said there were other gods he didn't had to worry about making same looking bodies in the future.

'So there are other gods!' She contemplated as she marveled at how big the world really was.

"So.... Great One, i may, can i ask you why you're here?" Laila asked respectfully.

Lewin snorted. "Well i think it can't be helped, you're a mortal after all" He complained "I am here to entitle you" He said

Laila frowned. "Entitle me...? What is that supposed to mean" She asked slowly.

"Well, take it as a reward for awaking my blessing." Lewin said with a unfazed tone. Actually he just wanted to make she wake up and leave the mountain so he didn't die of boredom watching her, all this naming stuff was some bull crap he came up with that he though made sense.

Laila stoped moving for a moment processing the infromation, and when she was done her eyes widdened in realisation, she then threw herself to the ground doing a dogeza and said. "I can't express how honored i am to receive your title, oh great one!!" She said.

In laila's head, this "Entlitement" she was goin through now was something like what hapened to the rich or influent that became nobles, they went to their king castle, and the king gave their titles, so getting entitled by a deity meant that she was goin to be some kind of influent figure on their world.

Lewin looked at Laila and though for a bit.

"Okay then, what title should i give you..." He placed a hand at his chin deeply thinking about it.

As the pondered, Lewin's eyes wondered around the area, trying to come up with a good name to give her, but while his eyes wondered around the area, his sigh fell into Laila's forehead, and he noticed that on her forehead, a pair of little almost unnoticeable horn were growin.

'Ooh, so from the whole body of a dragon, just the head part remained? Interesting...' He though. 'Huh? Wait, head...? Dragon...' Lewin smiled childisly 'Seems like this one is very lucky, i usually don't have a good naming sense, so she was very fortunate'

Lewin coughed "Child, with the power invested in me, i give you the name Pendragon!" he announced "From now on, your name is Laila Pendragon! Shall your name be heard on all corners of this planet!!!" He said

Laila, when she hearad that name raised her head and looked at Lewin that had his arm spread wide and the purple aura that surrounded his body now started to slowly dissipate.

Laila was a little taken aback by this, but she figured that godds couldn't stay in the mortal world for too long, after all, they're deities. She slowly stood up, and with determination she saluted at him.

"I can never repay you for the favors you did to me, but i promisse, that as long as i live, i shall respect and follow your expectation to the day i die"

Lewin didn't show any emotion and just said with a unfazed tone.

"Yeah, i know"

And this was the birth of one of the biggest clans in the history; The Pendragons!!!
