==========================
After Lewin was done processing Laila's backstory, slowly his concience came back to the Trials of the dragon.
Lewin had his eyes closed in melancholy. All his creations had personalities that derived from his, so he had for them an ultimate kind of simpathy, and just by trying to imagine how sad she was, he was able top feel it.
Lewin really didn't want to get attached to any of the creations, first of all, they didn't live long anyway, so if he got attached, it would just end up in him getting sad over the death of a little creature he created not even 2 days ago, and when if he recovered from that, he was sure it would happen again, not only that, but if creature he got attached to ecountered danger, he couldn't help but save it.
But even like that, he got careless and ended up sympathizing with Laila. At that moment, Lewin got up from his chair and walked to the globe, he had decided, no matter what, he wouldn't let Laila die in this trial, even if he had to intervene using Soul Essence. Otherwise, his morals would torture him for a long, loooong time for not even trying to help her
Lewin sighed, and took a look at his Soul Essence reserves.

'This is enough. With this i can make enough miracles to support her for a life time or so. As long as she doesn't try to destroy the world, i can help her'
........
2 hours had passed and the dragon had finally came back.
It appeared in the middle of the sky with such speed that it seemed like he had teleported there.
It landed on the ground and waited a little, looking at the florest.
After 2 minutes, Laila came out of the florest, with the determination and desire on her eyes renovated, and she seemed ready to kill someone.
The dragon then pointed at the second pilar it had made, but laila didn't walk there, instead, she walked to the pillar where Vhali was and pointed at it.
"Can i start here?" She asked.
The dragon was silent for a moment but he caughed and answered.
"Sure, but i may warn you, that rock is already heated up, you won't last as long as you would if you started on the other one." It said.
"i know, but i prefer goin on this one." She reassured.
The dragon looked at Laila with interest and promptly nodded.
"Okay then, you may go." It said
Laila bowed to him and then proccededn to take off her pants and her shirt.
She then tied them to her feet and climbed the altar.
When she reached the top, she quickly noticed that the ground was bathed with blood, and on the corner of the pilar, Vhali was sitting in fetal position, screaming and crying desesperately. He was there, because around 20 minutes ago, the rock melted the skin on his feet, and stuck on the ground, unnabling him to move, and after not being able to move around, his situation worsened quickly as his other feet also melted to the ground, and after trying to rip one of them from them off, he tripped and fell down with his feets still stuck. He quickly fell on despair, but was just able to sit where he was and cry in fetal position, wishing for it all to end quikly.
When Laila saw him, he eyes became sharp, and she walked to him, poor Vhali, he was suffering from so much pain that he couldn't even hear someone walking to him, on his mind was just pain.
Laila reached him, and crouched while looking at him, but after she noticed he haven't noticed her approching she snorted and slapped him hand on the face, making his face touch the scorching ground.
Vhali screamed like he had never before in his life, his eyes wide open, and just then did he see Laila crouching besides him and then it finally hit him, and his face was filled with even more horror. he then turned to the dragon and screamed to it.
"She's trying to kill me!! Help!!! It's a gainst the rules right?! She's trying to kill me for my gold!!" He begged and pleaded to the draogn, but the dragon just snorted smugly and did nothing but cross it's arms.
The rule was clear, "You can't kill anyone for their gold".... Laila wasn't after any gold, what she wanted, was revenge.
Vhali just stretched his arm towards the dragon and with a low tone he said "Ple...ase.... I don't wanna die".
but when he stretched his hand, Laila steped on it with great strength, making the arm touch the pillat surface, that quikly melted his skin, also getting it stuck.
Vhali screamed and looked at laila, but the only thing he saw was a hand grasping on his head, lifting him and making his melted skin rip from the ground.
Laila then grabbed him from the back of his head, and smashed his face on the ground, making his lips melt together, leaving him unabble to speak.
Laila turned his face to her and took a good look at him, she then smiled and said softly. "Time for payback" she said with a pure smile and gentle tone, wich terrified Vhali even more, he tried to talk to her, and maybe negotiate his life, but she didn't gave the chance.
1 hour and 20 minutes passed. Vhali had finally died, his body laid on the ground, and standing on top of it was Laila.
she looked down at his body and took a deep breath, getting ready to complete the trial.
This trial was very deadly, and she knew it very well, there was no way to come out of it unscratched, so if she couldn't avoid damage, the last she could do was minimize them.
So she came up with this plan, she was goin to stand still on top of the altar, using whatever method she could to protect her feet, and after all her protections were were destroied by the heat, she woould stand there enduring the pain, so the damage would only be on her feets.
She wasn't sure the dragon would let her gather materials on the florest to help her last longer, and she wasn't willing to bet on it, so instead, she meditated, trying to get mentally ready for the incoming pain, and that was also part of the reason why she hadwent to Vhali's altar, after all, the more she had to protect her feet, the better.
And so, time passed.
2 hours passed. As time passed, the already scorching rock became hotter and hotter, and at this point, Laila kind of regretted getting on the same altar as Vhali, wich body was already melting and formed a puddle of blood at her feet, blood wich was almost quikly evaporating.
1 hour passed. Vhali's body desapeared, some of it melted to the rock, some of it disapeared, some parts turned to ashes and because of the extreme heat, some fo it melted to Laila's skin, making it a look a bit larger than normal. Even some of her clotches that enveloped her body suck to her feet because of Vhali's skin melting around it
There was only 40 minutes left, but these 40 minutes seemed like a impossible feet for her.
The heat of the rock was way too great, so much that it wasn't just "Heat" anymore, there were litteral FLAMES around her body, burning not only het feet, but even a bit of her arms as they spread through her body.
10 minutes passed. The flames had increased, and while they burned down her before fair skin, some of her vain popped and gushed blood all over the floor, but Laila just stood there with her eyes open and her arms crossed and a serious and calm expression on her face.
20 minutes passed. Almost all of Laila's body was burned now, and she had burns all over he body and her skin had became red, but she still stood there with her eyes open and her arm crossed, she still transmited that aura of a undefeatable and determined being, but in reality, she was already lost it, in her head all there was was pain, she couldn't see, she couldn't feel, she couldn't think, all there was was an empty black void where earlier was laila's consience.
At that moment, another vain popped, this time at her neck, and then she lost her balance and her body started to fall backwards, he head completely empty, she had already accepted her fate.
But when her body was halfway towards the ground, a voice woke her up, bringing back her long ago lost consciousness.
'I still don't need you here. First go and finish your issues, and i will come pick you up when time is due' The voice said.
Out of nowhere, energy started to flow all over her body, and with a new found strength, she regained her balance and continued standing there.
10 minutes passed. The dragon, that util now was playing with some monsters it had catch on the florest, was utterly amazed by what happened with Laila, so much that it imediatelly stoped doing whatever it was doing, and passed to watch carefully for the remaining 10 minutes as she stood there, in the middle of the altar.
After that event, the dragon noticed that not only had she regained her consciousness, but her skin and blood were regenerating, and it also seemed that standing on the pillar, became a lot easier now.
And like this, the third trial came to an end
