I was getting quite hungry and was pretty sure Crystal was too. I went into the kitchen to see what I had left in my fridge to eat. I wanted to use up the foods that would spoil soon since the electricity was gone for now. Crystal and I filled our stomachs and had a short 15 min rest before it was time to get down to business.
To try out my Space Pendant, I stored all my bottled drinks, a few sets of clean clothes, and all the nonperishable food I had. Finally, I felt that I was all set for real this time. Crystal and I made our way out of the apartment again.
Locking my door behind me, we head for the next apartment door.
Knock knock
"Please go away because I'm not opening the door. I have a gun, so if you try to force your way in, I'll shoot." said the guy behind the door.
"Be easy, dude; I was just checking if anyone needs help," Dwayne said.
Moving on because I still had a lot more ground to cover, we went to the next apartment.
knock knock
"Gough," by the sound heard from the other side of the door, I knew I had found what I was in search of.
"Jackpot Crystal like the last time, ok."
Bang! The door flew open slamming its way into the wall. This time was different because, unlike last time, two zombies were behind the door.
"Crystal, you take the one over there," I said as I pointed to my left.
"Time - Speed Suit" I had found that it's easier to apply the skills when said aloud.
We split up to go after our intended target. Crystal wasted no time and sprinted forward before making a pounce for its neck. Just before she could reach, though, the zombie reacted and smashed her into the wall.
Crash!
Crystal gets up, growling at the zombie with one look; you can tell that she's pissed. Soon lighting began to crackle in her mouth. She sprinted forward with slight traces of lighting around her feet. The speed she used was getting faster as she moved. Crystal flew for its neck once again, but this time, the zombie couldn't react. Crystal's teeth were laced with lighting as she bit through its neck.

While Crystal was going through her battle, I had just arrived in front of my target. I circled behind it with ease as my speed was even faster than Crystals. With one swing of my Kitana, its head dropped to the floor with a spur of dark green blood shooting out.

I decided to take what I needed from this apartment before we left for the next one. We continued on our way and cleared the rest of the rooms on this floor. Surprisingly there were no other survivors other than the one that we found earlier.
Crystal and I did clear out all the other zombies, and Crystal was able to lvl up too. We took a short break to eat and refill our mana before we continued to the next floor.
The search went on for the next couple of hours as we cleaned out all the known zombies in the building. Crystal and I only found three other survivors. Who like the last did not want to be bothered. We both leveled once more by the time we cleared the building.
I also gained plenty of food and water along the way. I even found a few guns and ammunition, but I wasn't sure if they were all legal. Not that it matters anymore.
Looking outside I could see that the sun was setting which meant it was between 7 - 8 pm. So I decided it was best to wait until tomorrow morning before I head to look for Joe. It's better to be on the safe side because anything can happen at night.
Crystal and I went back to our apartment before locking the door. I took a quick shower with the bit of water I had left. I wasn't too sure when I would be able to shower again. We then had a lovely meal, which I had to heat on the stove in a pot with paper and wood. It's not like I need the furniture anyway because I plan to leave to find my family after contacting Joe. Calling it a night, we went to sleep early to be ready for tomorrow.
