"Come in." The man said with a husky voice.
His hair was a pure silver color, shining under the little light from the intricate stained glass windows. The wrinkles on his lightly bearded face were prominent, and his eyes were a vibrant light blue color.
"Sergeant Samuel?" The man, General Yakov, asked with a stern voice.
Samuel could already tell it was trouble. The way the General addressed his name creeped him out.
"Y-Yes, Sir!" The child hesitantly replied. Saying that to some other superior felt different.
General Yakov stood up from his chair and walked towards the child.
"I expect a lot." He also seemed to have a thick Russian accent. "Your ancestors have shown us quite a lot." But his tongue was used to the language.
What did he mean by Samuel's ancestors? Even Samuel had no idea. He quietly stood, waiting for instructions like always.
