"Your Goddamn failed parent." Bradley sternly said to the child.

Samuel confusedly looked at the Lieutenant General. Had he always been addressing his parents all of this time?

"Failed parent?" Singular. The child asked for the singular.

Bradley looked away, indicating he wasn't going to talk about it anymore. Instead, he continued to walk.

Samuel had no choice but to follow his superior without asking further questions, knowing his questions wouldn't be answered.

Bradley walked with his hands still inside his pockets. He didn't look behind to make sure Samuel was following him. This is how much he trusted the child. And the child obliged.

Bradley was walking with a light foot, and Samuel followed him with a similar gait. The Lieutenant General seemed to be in an awful mood ever since he got out of the doctor's office. The doctor had spit some facts and attacked the Lieutenant General with words.
