After all the happy events, Nancy expected to witness this situation. Samuel sat on the couch as soon as he arrived home with Nancy, only to stare at the ceiling. It was quite late at night. Although Samuel hadn't been able to sleep these days, Nancy made sure he went to bed early with her. Suddenly, Nancy was the most punctual person alive.
She sat beside him, running her fingers through his hair, "No sleep, Chef?"
Samuel turned his eyes from the ceiling to Nancy, "I do not think so."
Nancy gently grabbed his arms and made him turn to face her, "What's up?" She asked him.
Samuel gulped, trying to avoid eye contact.
"What did we say about sharing our thoughts out loud?" Nancy reminded him.
Samuel exhaled at his defeat and looked at her, "Then…" He hesitantly murmured, "Can I get a hug?"
Nancy instantly wrapped her arms around him, squishing him with her arms, "Of course!" She giggled, trying to make him feel better.
