Nancy sat down with Samuel on the bed. They both folded their legs and faced each other. A long discussion was due. Because wanting to die and then not wanting to die on the same day was a huge change.
"Tell me what made you change your mind," Nancy asked straightforwardly, "I should know. You know, in case you want to die in the future, I can knock some sense into your potato brain."
Samuel chuckled and nodded. He was smiling a lot. It made Nancy worry because when she first met him after two years, he never stopped smiling. He always had this expression that he was going to die soon, so it didn't matter. She gulped. He noticed. He put his hand over hers, assuring her that he was right there.
"I met my grandfather," Samuel said, then shrugged.
Nancy's eyes widened in surprise, "Your grandfather…?"
