Samuel cleared his throat to continue talking, "I almost feel like I am a burden this way. As a half-immortal, at least you never had to worry about me. Now, everyone worries about me. I do not like it, but I did not want to discredit your hard work. Therefore, I avoided mentioning it." He explained to the best of his abilities.
"So," Nancy murmured, "You're saying you were better off as a half-immortal?"
"Not at all," Samuel shook his head, "I hated having nightmares. You saved me from those. It is just… I did not know being human was this different and difficult. There are too many thoughts in my head that usually have the same ending. I find it difficult to navigate my way through them."
