Nancy drove them back to Samuel's apartment. She kept observing him the entire time. He looked much calmer than before. It almost made her hope that he would want to live. Like any normal person, she questioned him as soon as they stepped inside the apartment.
"Does meeting them make you wanna live?" Nancy asked bluntly.
Samuel looked at her while closing the door. He crossed his arms and hummed to think about it. Nancy's eyes slightly widened. It was rare to see Samuel thinking about that question rather than answering without hesitation. Nancy gulped with anticipation.
"Well, I will have to avoid killing myself until Rose Mary's graduation ceremony and Judy's orchestra," Samuel said after thinking, "Do you think you can help me live till then?" He asked like an innocent child.
