Nancy narrowed her eyes with suspicion as she saw the little sign. She looked past the fence to see over it just when she felt a presence behind her. She quickly turned around on instinct.
"Don't worry." A person dressed as a priest murmured in German. "I came from that church there." He pointed behind them.
Nancy dropped her alarmed shoulders. The system didn't alarm her either, so she reckoned the man might not be dangerous.
"I saw you going further, so I thought I could tell you that this place is off-limits." The priest told her calmly.
"Why?" Nancy asked in perfect German. "I'm the owner, though." She tried to put on a facade.
"Are you?" The priest seemed unfazed. "Permit?"
"I need a permit to go to my piece of land?" Nancy scoffed.
"We need proof that you're from the Hoover family." The priest calmly broke it down to her.
