The color of blood was so familiar that it didn't even surprise him anymore. But the frown on his face painfully remained in its place while he was being untied, feeling the blood dripping down from the injured hands. The ties came loose, setting Samuel free finally. He quickly stood up even while his legs stumbled. He turned around to see the blood-drenched man living his last breaths.
"Sir!" Samuel sat down to hold the man up who was crawling towards Mikhail to untie him as well. "I will untie him. It is okay." He added, pushing the man upwards to make him sit on the chair.
His legs were bleeding out, with several bullet wounds all around them. He was breathing heavily, his mind in a constant concussion, with bruises all over his body. The soldiers, however, were all down on the ground.
