The journals were roughly stitched for the pages to be held together. The cover of the journals was light brown, but it seemed to have faded a lot to reach that specific color. It was safe to assume that it had a darker color to it before reaching this climax.
Nancy had placed all the journals on the floor, closed and aligned with each other so she could pinpoint a difference, if any. She was told to decode these journals, but the language was incomprehensible even for the chip. She had to level up if she wanted to make a difference. Hertwig was going to join her to aid in leveling up. 2 brains would be better than just 1.
Either way, it was going to take a while to understand and decode the mysteriously written journals. It would be funny if the journals turned out to be useless and a waste of time. But they didn't have many options.
