If this is what he had meant by using him as a currency to trade, then Nancy was a currency, too.
"Let him go," Nancy murmured under her fearful breath. "Take me, and let him go."
Bradley stared at her for a while, then instantly started laughing. His laughter echoed around the quiet woods while all his men had neutral faces visible, even under their masks.
"You guys are hilarious, please!" Bradley continued to chuckle.
"Sir," Samuel called him out again, still on his knees. "Please allow this servant to speak."
Nancy could hear the despair in his voice. There was nothing that he could do when she was being held at gunpoint. She could imagine how easy it would've been for him if she had just listened to him and stayed hidden. Now that Bradley's men had caught up, they were doomed.
Bradley looked at him. "Fuck off."
