He stood in front of me confused.
"W-why would I let you go into my room?!"
"Because I am a commoner. I don't have things such as villas. I do have a shack in the middle of the forest though"
He pondered for a moment and nodded.
"Okay. But if you are a commoner how did you enter the palace when its his majesty's birthday at that?"
"I'm the head of the number one information center in this kingdom. How do you think I got in? I also know the five languages so I am sure that I can do secretary work"
After chatting for a while he escorted me to his room. There was a villa for each envoy from the other countries so keeping a low profile was easy.
"I'm done taking a bath"
"I'll go take mine then"
I wore my dress after he left.
"Vassago"
"Yes, milady"
"Give this letter to Alex. Make sure that he read this when he is alone. And thank you for your help this past four days"
"Understood"
She left to go back to her master after giving me a surprise hug.
Thanks to Vassago all my belongings are here in Edward's room.
With that, I started to brew another set of perfume with a higher potency in exchange for the duration.
It will last for three hours but the effects will be five times stronger.
Honestly, I want to befriend the alchemist who made this perfume. It's not just smell that will attract the opposite sex but a brew that uses something akin to pheromones.
Just like how animals attracts others using their pheromones when it is mating season the perfume works the same way. It forces the opposite sex to be in a state of 'heat'.
"You're still awake?"
Wow~ As expected from 'The empire's strongest man'. He has a more well tone body than Alex. Then again he is a knight but Alex isn't.

He quickly jump back with a beet red face. The perfume was working effectively.
I slowly went closer to him as if taking my time in enjoying the conflicted expression he had.

I sat down on his lap.

He then snapped. Carrying me and throwing me on the bed.

Morning came and I was surprised. He was really good despite it being his first time.
I caress his cheeks as I kept on pondering how a guy like his is so talented in bed.

I hugged him from behind, my bare chest on his hard back.

The blanket covering his third leg rose.

I sprayed again after waking up so having this kind of reaction is only normal. I can't do this more than three times a week though since it may affect him in a bad way.
And so, we did it again.

Since we were being really loud I guess those who went to his door heard us.
We finish exercising at noon.

If Alex was here instead of him I would have been caught red handed that I'm lying.

After getting ready we started to depart to the empire. Since his ability is being kept secret we were riding horses on our way instead of going back using a portal.

We left at dawn. Before doing so I left another note for Jerome regarding what to do after subjugating viscount Rahullion.
After a month long journey we arrived at the Dominique county.
"You should rest for today and tour around the house to get yourself familiar to it"

Despite being a count he has a mansion similar to the duke in Dilirea. Then again, he does earn a lot as the empire's strongest man.

I opened the door without getting the permission to do so.

Edward cut in, not letting his other guest to finish what he was saying.
"Our meeting is done. My butler will escort you outside"
The man was dragged out by the butler. He was screaming at the top of his lungs that it was very rude for Edward to treat a marquees like that.
"I suppose you have something urgent to discuss with me"
He sure is mad.
"Here is the plan I've made regarding your revenge. I made it on our way here. There are some variables but surely you can fill it up"
I put the envelope where the documents are on the table.
While looking at it he was nodding and kept on looking at me with a thrilled expression.
"What do you think?"
"Terrific! It's flawless. No wonder your guild is infamous in the whole continent despite only working in a single kingdom"
The one who killed his father is Duke Benzel. My plan is to slowly cut off the the duke's source of income while absorbing it as his own.
"By the way why was that guy from earlier here?"
"He brought a marriage proposal for me to meet with his daughter. That guy is a branch family of the Benzels' and her daughter, who he wants me to meet up with is Sarah Benzel a scholar and is one of the greatest alchemist in the entire empire"

As stated in our contract, I started working in the county as Edward's personal secretary.
Two months passed by and our plans were going smoothly.
The viscount of Rahullion was placed by former's son who has a good heart and started to treat his people well by fixing the tax into a proper amount, giving them their rights, etc.
In Edward's case, he is now controlling half of the commerce which originally came from the duchy of Benzel with my help.
And of course, we would sleep and do some fun night activities twice a week. Getting the ingredients for the perfume was easy since I can order around the maids and the knights in the county.

This is somewhat tiring now.
I entered the office and there were a lot of boxes on the floor. There was no need for me to open them to tell what was inside. They obviously contain expensive shits inside.

One thing is for sure, this guy got noticeably affectionate with me whenever we are alone.

Here's what happened.
His mother, Sophie Oron Dominique, had a tumor near the stomach and she was also suffering from a type of diseases that is cause by parasites. So I, who knew how to treat her, did a surgery and was successful to remove the tumor and made her drink medicine that will kill the parasites.
Even after looking for priests with high healing abilities or witches/wizards that creates potions no one was able to treat his mother since their powers only works on non-living things. And a parasite, which is alive once it is inside the host, makes the ability users' power useless.
I sat down and cross my arms. He sat down on his chair after seeing my business face.
"How are things going on your side?"
"We've gathered enough evidence and witnesses to win a trial. Since he would-"

The door was violently opened by a man. The man who did that is the childhood friend of Edward, the third prince of the Berda empire, Cedric de Berda.
I was a bit surprise by the first time he barged in and am now used to it.
"Why are you here?"
Cedric sat down and wave both of his hands like a kid who is running down a hill. He then copied my posture and facial expression after glancing at me.
"The trial has been accepted by the imperial crown princess which is why I run here immediately. Also," He took an envelope from a pocket in his suit. He then gave it to me and said "There is a letter from the Dilirea for Marie Anne. It came from the seventh prince"
I took it swiftly and hid it.
"Thanks. So how are the of you doing?"
"Great. It all thanks to you"
He stood up and wave his hands in the air again.
"Now that I'm done I'll get going now!"
Getting on the good side of the the third prince was easy. He liked someone and I acted as the cupid.
That someone is a staff in the Dominique county. A servant to be precise. While same sex marriage is a legal thing in the whole continent thanks to the sorcerer 800 hundred years ago the two have to hide their relationship since the servant would have a hard time living a normal life if the public found out that he is going out with a royal.
After a few days the public found out about the trial that house Dominique requested to the imperial family regarding the Benzel house's evil deeds.
A week later it was the day of the trial. Despite being the secretary of the count I can't participate as I still have things to do with Cedric.
"Eddie and the Benzel family should be in the imperial court now, right"
"Yeah"
"You should go then"
The of us infiltrated the Marquees' estate for one main reason: To kidnap the alchemist, Sarah Benzel.
While gathering data for the past two months we found evidence that the bitch is experimenting with live humans and is obsessed with Edward.
And since she is my 'prey' both Eddie and Cedric wasn't able to refuse when I claimed her as my target.
"I'm back"
Cedric came back with Sarah Benzel on his shoulder. She was resisting and was trying to scream but it was futile.
Cedric pinned her down to the ground and I started doing my job.
"You won't give her a painless death, will you?"
"Of course not"
"Good"
I then injected her with two separate drug. The first one is a sleeping drug that will put her into a state of coma for a week. The second one is an amplifier that will further prolong the duration of the first one.
By mixing these two it will create a whole new drug inside the body. And once I need to wake her up I just need to inject her with something else.
Night came. We were done with abducting Sarah and Cedric, with the backing of the imperial family, won the trial. The Benzel family were executed at noon and half of their property were confiscated by the imperial family. The other half became a part of the Dominique county.
Eddie also earn the title of 'Duke' which then became a hot topic in the empire, both for the nobility and for the commoners.
"Let's have a drink and celebrate!"
Cedric sure is cheerful.
The county celebrated for winning the trial. It was truly a joyous night for us.
"Anne, can I talk with you in private?"
"Um, sure"
I followed him and entered his room. He was gloomy which made me confused. I thought he'd be happy after having his sweet revenge.
"You said that you wanted a... small harem right?"
"Yes"
