Azren ended up cooking two packs of ramen for him and Michy. After telling the idol that he would pay for the ramen, the idol gave him a green light to cook a pack of ramen.
Azren couldn't help but grumble in his heart. What a stingy idol!
They ended up eating together at the kitchen island. Azren was quite surprised when the silver-haired idol letting him eat with him on the table. He thought the idol would ask him to eat somewhere else. Or perhaps even asked him to eat on the floor.
They were eating in silence, and the demon was thankful that the idol didn't complain about the ramen taste. That was the first time he cooked human food, and he was afraid that it would taste awful. He just followed his human brain's instruction, and thankfully, Michy enjoyed the meal just fine.
It was just ramen, after all. Azren shouldn't worry too much about cooking instant ramen.
"Felice had told you about my schedule tomorrow, right?" The idol suddenly asked a question after he finished his lunch.
His skinny hand reached out to grab a glass of water and elegantly sipped the transparent liquid.
"Yes," Azren answered while putting down his chopsticks. "She told me that you have a photoshoot schedule tomorrow."
Michy put down the glass on the table and reached out again to grab a piece of paper towel. In an exquisite manner, he wiped his lips with the paper towel.
"Did she tell you other things that are not related to my schedule?"
Azren frowned upon hearing the question. "She only told me about your schedule," he answered. "Ah, she also told me about the rules in this house. She told me that you don't like it when other people enter your room."
Michy stared at him flatly. The idol was still young and had a pair of beautiful azure eyes, but his gaze was always creepy and gave him goosebumps.
"That's true. I hate it when people enter my room, so don't you dare to enter my room."
Azren could only nod his head. "Is there anything you don't like other than that?"
Michy didn't immediately answer as furrowed his eyebrow, seeming to think what to say.
"I don't like dark places, so don't turn off the lights in this house at night. Even in the unused rooms, you should keep the lights on at night. And if the light bulb dies, you should immediately change it."
Azren now understood why the house was so bright when he just entered the house earlier. Michy was afraid of the dark, so he deliberately designed the house to be able to receive the natural lights from outside, as well as installing a lot of lamps in the house.
"And I don't like fire too!"
Azren looked puzzled this time. The idol had told him that he didn't like the darkness, and just now he heard that the idol didn't like fire as well. The demon remembered that he came from a place with eternal darkness and surrounded by fire. Was it just a coincidence that the human didn't like the two things that could describe his realm?
"Why don't you like fire? Fire is helpful, right? You can even cook with fire."
Azren dumbly questioned the human. He recalled that the idol didn't use any stove with fire in the kitchen, but he thought it was normal because the electric stove was popular in the human world these days.
His human brain told him that information, so he didn't think that the reason behind the stove choice was because the idol didn't like fire. Perhaps the idol was afraid of fire, but he had such high self-esteem that he said that he didn't like fire.
'That's possible, right?'
"I just don't like it. Do I need to tell you anything? You are just my assistant, not my relatives or something."
Michy's sarcastic words shut Azren's mouth. Perhaps he had crossed the line between them.
"You cooked the ramen well, and it suits my taste. If I ask you to cook noodles, don't let the noodle be overcooked, I don't like an overcooked noodle. I don't like spicy food either, so don't put any chilly or pepper in my food."
Azren nodded his head as he silently recorded all the information in his head.
"I've let you live with me here, so you should do the housework as well. Do you have any complaint with it?"
The idol didn't even pay the assistant, but he had the nerve to tell the assistant to do housework as well. If Azren was a human, he surely would quit right away. Who wanted to do lots of work without receiving any payments?
But Azren was not a human, and he didn't need money. All he needed to do was staying close to the idol so that he could complete his mission as soon as possible.
"I don't have any complaint with it," the demon answered.
Michy nodded his head in satisfaction before pushing his empty bowl toward Azren who was sitting opposite him. "I'm finished. You can wash them in the sink, right?"
Could Azren answer with a no?
Azren wasn't in a position to decline the order. He looked like a masochist for staying around Michy even though the latter was treating him badly. Michy probably saw him as his slave, but he couldn't protest for the sake of his mission.
In the end, Azren could only smile sheepishly before nodding his head. He was practically a human's slave now.
Michy returned the nod before he got up from his seat. Without saying anything else, he left the blonde alone.
The young idol didn't even thank him and just left like that. With that nasty attitude, the evil meter was still not the maximum?
Azren rested his head on the table weakly. He was so exhausted despite not doing too much today. The human body was so fragile, and he got tired already.
His hand absentmindedly played with the chopsticks inside the empty bowl, and he had to admit that human food tasted pretty good. Even so, he had to try other dishes tomorrow, though. His human brain told him that instant ramen wasn't good for the health, so he had to cook healthier food tomorrow.
Taking a deep breath, Azren straightened up again and made a decision. He had to buy groceries today.
