Zhen Yi Chen was suspicious of the girl. He knew something was off, having been a trained martial artist as well as a killer. He suddenly thrust his sword towards her face very fast. His sword lie only a few centimetres from her face but she did not waver, nor did she scream or cry like what other girls would do in such situation as this. GaLa Yu looked at him, murder in her eyes. She quickly knocked his sword away and graciously picked her zither , which shot out sound waves at Yi Chen. He moved backwards. "So, miss actually can fight? Then the one I must kill is you! " he exchange blows with her zither. But he was vicious and cunning. He secretly shot a hidden dart at her. The moment she noticed the hidden weapon was when it shot through her shoulder. GaLa Yu let out a scream. Blood started to drip from her left shoulder . Zhen Yi Chen laughed. "Now, let's see where you can run! " he raised his sword to strike her. Just at that moment, a young man appeared and yelled, " sister! " Zhen Yi Chen eyes lit up. "GaLa Yue! You didn't die! Good! I'll kill you siblings both!" GaLa Yue fought with him. He ran out from the balcony onto a corridor to lure Zhen Yi Chen away from his sister.
"Yue'er! " he heard his sister called.
Zhen Yi Chen thrust his sword towards the curtain, ripping it into half. He almost stab GaLa Yue, who at once immediately move back. Once the curtain was gone, Zhen Yi Chen saw his face. "GaLa Yue! You're still alive! That's great! " GaLa Yue felt that this man wasn't happy he was alive, but happy he's alive to die in his (Zhen Yi Chen's) hands. GaLa Yue pulled out his sword. Zhen Yi Chen was fast and eager for him to die. His attacks were quick and ruthless. GaLa Yue blocked and dodged. They were fighting on a narrow corridor overlooking the back garden of Flower Pavilion. GaLa Yue felt breathless and his chest pain. He put a hand against his chest while fighting. But he didn't have enough strength. His strength started to fade. GaLa Yue tried to stab Zhen, Yi Chen 's side but missed. As his sword was longer and thinner than
Zhen, Yi Chen 's, it got stuck into a wooden wall. The sword penetrate through to the other side, where Lan QiLin was drinking wine. The sword sliced his wine gourd into half. He was surprised. "Hey! Are you without manners!? " He heard fighting sounds and went to watch the fight. It was like a show to him.
GaLa Yue used his strength to retrieve his sword just in time before Yi Chen attack again. Zhen Yi Chen clashed against his sword so hard that it sent GaLa Yue stumbling backwards and tripping over the fallen curtain. He almost fell off, as his back arched over the wooden barriers that prevented his fall. Before he could recover from his half-fall, Zhen Yi Chen dashed towards him, sword in front, ready to give him a fatal stab. But at that moment, a young man in white jumped out of nowhere and kicked
Zhen Yi Chen's sword. The man in white grabbed GaLa Yue's hand and pulled him up to a standing position. Then the man in white ducked under Zhen Yi Chen's sword as he attack again, and punched his stomach and tripped Zhen Yi Chen. The man in white picked up GaLa Yue's sword and presented it to him. "He's not a good person. I knew it, " the man in White said. GaLa Yue looked up at the man. The man had an innocent and naive look to his eyes, slim, slender and was taller than him. Zhen Yi Chen didn't give up. He attacked again. Lan QiLin fought with him. Lan QiLin splashed rouge at his eyes, temporarily blinding Zhen Yi Chen. "Ahhh! Bastard! "
"Come catch me! " Lan QiLin playful said. He tripped Zhen Yi Chen over and made him fall face flat. Lan QiLin went on throwing all kinds of ladies' accessories, cosmetics and perfume at him, which irritated Zhen Yi Chen greatly. GaLa Yue stand by the side, behind Lan QiLin and watch the fight. He irritated Zhen Yi Chen till he became so angry that he couldn't think straight, charged towards the two, slipped over perfume spices and fell to his death in the courtyard below. Lan QiLin was shocked. He didn't expected that. "Am I a murderer? " he asked, shakily. "No, you have saved me and my sister. I owe my life. " "so he's a bad guy? A criminal? " "He killed my entire family, " GaLa Yue said in anger of the memories that sprung out again at the thought of his family. He let out a sigh of relief. It was over. He had taken revenge for his family. When he looked down below at the dead body of Zhen Yi Chen, the body disappeared and he saw a black shadow ran across the yard below. He quickly helped his sister up and asked if she's okay. When she reassured him she was, he ran out of the balcony to chase after that black shadow. "Yue'er! Where are you going?! "
Lan QiLin saw his fellow disciples and brother entered Flower Pavilion and were looking for him. They almost spotted but he quickly hid behind GaLa Yue. He volunteered to accompanied him in disguise of catching the black shadow. GaLa Yue agreed. They quickly went after the black shadow.
