Mikax used his Etheric Transfer to get the group of kids, Faylen, and Gora back to the front of the guild hall. He sent the children on his way with a smile and wave as he felt another surge of power. This time it was inside him.
He had hit level 253. He understood where this came from. Nearly 10 kids just watched him single-handedly slay a dragon and make it look easy. He was sure that they now worshipped him as a God to some degree.
After seeing the flow envelope Mikax, Gora couldn't help but ask, "How are you so strong if you aren't at the maximum level? I was told 250 is as strong as any creature can get, have you not reached that yet?"
Mikax didn't want to answer so he just shrugged and walked inside while waving for Gora to follow. He went to the bar and asked one of the newer recruits whom he hadn't learned their name to get Lyra.
"So Gora, how did you turn up there? It couldn't have been by chance." Mikax probed the Elf while he waited.
