In the guild hall of The Misfit Toys two men were on the ground in a tradition Japanese Dogeza apology position. In front of each of them was a woman and behind them was Arlyne. She hadn't stopped pacing back and forth and would randomly shout angry statements at them both.
The two men were none other than Mikax and her father Caleb who less than an hour ago had tricked Arlyne into thinking she was in mortal danger. The women on the other hand were Lyra and Caleb's wife Rori. Everyone present knew the true culprit was Mikax however, since joining the guild after his rescue the two men had become quick friends and had gotten into more than their fair share of mischief already.
"That's enough Arlyne let's let Lyra handle these two from here." Rori turned to her daughter and gave her a gentle smile trying to usher her away. The entire time they left her voice could be heard cursing them both in anger and frustration.
