It had been nearly a week since Arlyne had found the member of The Council of Miasma and had been stalking him ever since. He had so far led her to nothing important, not even a single other member. The elf spent his days going about his boring meaningless life and she was ready to snap.
The only break she got was when Mikax would show up and scare her senseless. Without fail he somehow snuck up on her every time before sending her off to get some rest.
He swore he was working on teaching her how to control her emotions better by startling her before making her calm down. Knowing Mikax's personality she doubted that was the truth and it was more likely that he just got a kick out of it. Either way, it probably wouldn't hurt to learn it, right?
