Before the dust had even settled Mikax was walking back towards Gweyir who still hadn't gotten up.
"Do you have any idea what you could have done!?" Mikax had a wild face as he shouted.
Everyone was horrified as he made his way across the chamber. The other guards didn't just wait around and began to charge at him. Before any could reach him though he began casting low-level spells to knock them back. These were simple to Mikax so they required no cast time or chanting, to the bystanders it looked like these spells were specifically appearing to defend him.
Once he reached Gweyir she was attempting to get up. It was clear that she had taken a large amount of damage from Mikax's kick. As she stabilized herself she felt a hand close around her throat and lift her off the ground.
