Time couldn't tell how long Tasia had been breaking rocks and pushing a cart of rocks. Surprisingly, no matter how tired her body was, she could still do it even though it felt like all her bones would fall off. She didn't feel like she was going to faint or anything. Her consciousness was completely intact.
She felt very hungry and thirsty, but was still able to stand and work.
Unknowingly, the sky was starting to become bright as a sign that the sun had started to appear which indicated that morning would come. A bell with a deafening buzzing sound signalled that the day's work was over.
The guards directed all the prisoners to march out of the worksite with incoherent whipping. Tasia was furious to see how evil these creatures were. It was not just their faces and looks that were like monsters, but their actions and thoughts were the same as monsters!
