Morbius opened his eyes and noticed the effects of the breakthrough on his body. Before, without concern, he absorbed the energy from the air. He doesn't know what kind of energy he absorbed. For a cultivator, it is crucial to ensure that the energy absorbed is pure as possible.
Energy Absorption Realm is another foundational hurdle. It is important to know what kind of energy to cultivate and how to filter that energy out of the myriads of energy in the air.
To separate mana from the impure air, one must have an Energy Absorption cultivation manual for mana. Mana travels in a different pathway after the breakthrough.
Morbius is not meant to absorb energy for a breakthrough if he wants to break through normally.
For a normal breakthrough, one must choose the type of energy and choose a manual for it. The beginning phases of Energy Absorption manuals allow energy perception (seeing light particles in the air), as well as a breakthrough.
Breakthrough is supposed to happen before the formation of Internal Energy Source, but what Morbius did was the opposite. The formation of the source isn't the cause of his breakthrough.
In analogy, normally, we ask permission before getting under a woman's skirt, but what Morbius did is get under a woman's skirt before asking for permission.
The downside of this method is that he is not aware of the type of energy he is cultivating. All he knew for certain is that his body became an energy black hole. It is not that he has a bigger reserve, but his whole body is akin to a sponge with many holes allowing energy to permeate.
The awakening of his dormant veins allowed him more possibilities for circulation. This means that his circulation method is not limited to the realm of humans, but other creatures as well that have different body compositions.
"I thought, after unlocking my physiology, I would be stronger or at least younger. I might even be more thankful if I became more sexually potent."
'Being a virgin is frustrating.' He thought.
Morbius did not know what manual to buy after pondering for a long time. He could perhaps study about energies for a bit. Fortunately, he has a book that delves a bit into it.
Morbius took a book from the pile. The house is a mess and that is because of his busy schedule. He left the house unattended for a but.
The book is old and it is called Particles in Nature. The book is not that huge but full of colorful illustrations. As usual, it is written in noodles, and that is because it is a book written in ancient text.
On the cover of the book, a magic circle is printed. The magic circle looks complicated with various shapes and indecipherable text and words. It seems to be more ancient than the book.
Morbius had seen this before. Most of the books during his time are so expensive that it does not pale in comparison to cultivation resources. The books are of high quality and the content is always worth its price. Such a lucrative business will make it impossible not to incite people's greed.
To prevent counterfeiting, magicians of his time including some Legends implemented a seal (magic circle) to prevent people from pirating books. The seal tends to activate a different region of the brain to store the knowledge from the book. Knowledge and memory about the book remain, but can't be used to make counterfeit.
"Nature. A mysterious entity that governs life and allows every cogs and gear of existence to thrive. With each element represented by the gears of life, nature in its finest moves for the benefit of all and all for the benefit of nature." Morbius read the passage and noticed the profoundness of the book.
If nature is an entity then it might be alive. If not, then at least nature must be something that moves or is destined to be a mediator of the elements.
Each particle has a purpose and since living and non-living things are composed of particles then everyone and everything has a purpose. It could be said that anyone has a certain effect on everyone, anything has a certain effect on everything, anything to everyone, and everything to anyone and vice versa. In short, all things are connected and what connects them is nature.
In the book Particles in Nature, it is stated that existence under nature will always be incomplete on its own.
A man is incomplete without a woman to form a family. A town is not a town without families. A country is composed of towns and to make it a country, interests, culture, and relations must be under one banner. Everything is a gear that is moved by nature.
Something always needs something to gain something and lose something. It is somehow fascinating when it comes to our mind such thoughts like what is the most initial fuel for this machination to run and what is the grandest reward and the biggest loss at the end of the line. Is the prize also the cost? Is the input also the output?
Nature in its grandest view could not be observed unless one transcends the constraints of being a mortal. One needed to be able to see the beginning and the end of time in one picture to witness the real magnificence of nature.
"The intro is too complicated. So when one aims for something, one should give something. One could gain, but losses are inevitable. In the grand scheme of nature, energy is the currency one must earn. This energy is pure and precious. It is an understatement to say that it is expensive.
Pure energy is consumed by different forms of existence. Living or not living, energy is the fuel needed to keep the gears of nature to keep on moving.
Each member of nature earns something and loses something. The losses are not always a bad thing in nature for these losses might be utilized by others.
Plants absorb solar energy and bad air and gain minerals from manure. In which plants produce fruits, give birth to plants, and releases clean air. That air is used by living beings, which seemingly perpetually repeat itself forming an endless cycle of life.
The goal of this book is to study the greatest form of energy under the heavens. This energy might seem fictional due to its scarcity, but it is real and the purest observable energy in this world.
Cultivation of this type of energy is quite hard if not impossible, for it is not meant for the consumption of humans.
The energy we have today varies and its becoming is unknown. One thing is for sure, energies such as Qi, mana, chakra, solar, and many more were stemmed from pure energy."
After the profound part, Morbius was hooked on what he is reading. Page by page, he flipped the book and studying the characteristics of each type of energy.
The book is so detailed, that he believed it would take him long to finish and familiarize himself with its content. However, despite the tediousness of the material, it is sure worth the read.
"Pure energy huh?"
