Morbius, after his haul, went to the library. He bought a library pass for 1 gold which is quite hefty for him who has not taken a step outside the city to hunt beasts. He could also open a restaurant, but he would be understaffed in that case. Hiring people is expensive especially in a service powerhouse city.
Morbius went to a shelf containing meditation books. Books such as the Weekly Stoic, 365 Nights Meditation, and even Kama Sutra Meditation are displayed here. He is not interested in those books though. What he needs is a body scanning technique.
For a cultivator, it is important to know about your own body in a perceptive sense. Usually, physicians have this skill, but since cultivation is a norm, it is taught in schools.
"Bingo!" It is already afternoon. Morbius needs to go home soon so he started reading the book that he took. The book is a simple Body Scan Technique. This is nothing special so it is quite easy to learn. One must be able to be in a trance state to perform this. The only factor that could affect this technique is how fast a person could enter the trance state.
After familiarizing it, Morbius went home at night. Since his funds are quickly depleting, he needed to start his job.
Morbius is a meticulous person and likes to plan before moving. Now that he has a goal in life which is to cultivate, he needs to plan properly. 'Having a purpose in life is indeed great.'
He feels alive every time he thinks about what he needed to do for the next day. Anticipation for tomorrow is such a good feeling and he wishes that in his immortal life, he won't lose his purpose... Or, he would always have a purpose.
Morbius entered his house and sat on then sat on the floor. He took out the books he bought from the Merchant Hall and dumped them at his front.
Out of the stack, he took three books, Alma's Cell Rejuvenation, Bladeless Sword, and Lifebound Reversal Cultivation Manual.
Alma's Cell Rejuvenation is a technique that hastens cell destruction and regeneration. Any cells in the body could be manipulated with this ancient technique. One is required to have a high comprehension of the body though as well as a basic body scan technique.
Not all cells are meant to be accelerated though that is why medical skills are required to fully unlock the potential of such technique.
This technique was invented by Shrine Empress Alma. She is a Legend from a different world and brought the technique to life. She is a very beautiful woman in her prime and used this technique to recover easily. With her high cultivation and crazy technique, without exhausting her energy, she is unkillable. This technique is a crazy one for it is a toggle type technique. Once it is activated, it won't stop unless the user deactivated or the energy is exhausted.
"If I use this on my baby-making cells, maybe I could impregnate a goddess. Hahaha! Wonderful." Morbius heartily laughed.

"So this might be the technique of the legends? The reason why the maidens are unkillable in a battle." Morbius got too excited. He read the procedure and realized that it is quite a simple but hard technique to train. Not hard but... dangerous.
"Fuck! Kill all cells and revive them until it became a habit. One must kill all of his cells simultaneously and revive them at the same time. The activated veins are..."
Killing all cells - isn't that suicide? How could I revive myself when I am dead?
Pondering, he analyzed the riddle-like paradox. 'Maybe, the veins are the key. One needs to insert energy into specific veins to practice this technique. Before destroying the cells, one needs to prepare a certain amount of energy and clog them. Mind veins, heart veins, and gut veins should be energized. This technique might be easier if I have medical skills.'
If one is to be asked which is more dangerous between Alma's Cell Rejuvenation and Lifebound Reversal, the cell technique seems to be more dangerous. If the manual is telling you to kill yourself, it is more dangerous.
Morbius set aside the book first and performed Body Scan.
Trance State.
In a mindless state, no inner monologue could be heard. A pure blank state of mind. Without stray thoughts, he controlled his consciousness to traverse around his body.
He could see his heart, brain, lungs, and all internal parts of his body. Even the tiniest cell was magnified. In a trance state, he could be ejected if he felt overwhelmed by the scenery. He tried not to get excited.
After witnessing his physical body, he snapped, and the view change. He could see a different scene. The surrounding area is dark, but he could see a vein-like structure made of light particles. At first glance, he realized that this is the energy vein.
The light particles are white and they are stably placed in that vein structure. Currently, Morbius had not practiced a cultivation technique yet. He is quite skeptical so he did not learn Lifebound Reversal yet. Lifebound Reversal is a very good Energy Absorption technique. It brings many benefits during the Energy Absorption realm, but the requirements are extreme. Only old people could cultivate this technique and it requires a Magic Array Plate to regulate the effect based on age. The reason for such a technique is not stated and he did not delve too much into it yet.
"So... should I try this cell rejuvenation technique?"
Even if he learns medicine, he could not find a solution on how to revive his cells while being in a dead state. If he understood correctly, during the death state, he should revive himself. He needed to perform death and life at the same time with almost no margin of error.
Learning medicine won't be helpful. For a beginner, the probability of success of this technique is not stemmed from experience but luck. With this in mind, he decided to attempt the technique.
First, he checked his Energy Vein using a Body Scan. He could see white particles of light and a few specks of light with different colors.
Since he haphazardly absorbed energy particles, knew that it would be detrimental for his body to circulate the heterogeneous particles.
Fortunately, his body has unlocked physiology due to the Ancient Dragon Physiology technique. With his awakened veins, he could easily expel the energies inside his body. His pores were directly connected to his energy source making it easier to plunge out the impure energy in his body. Without further ado, he forcefully expelled the energy causing the air inside his house to become turbulent.
Some furniture and small stuff were pushed by his action causing a bit of a mess. Because of his action, his body was quite weakened. He laid down for a bit to catch his breath.
He took out some blue stones from his storage ring and looked at it. Now that he knew the use of this stone, he will use it to its finest. Pure Energy is not that scarce anymore as he observes the particles in the air. The only thing he lacked is the technique to filter the pure energy from the air. Lifebound Reversal could be useful, but first, he needs to install an Age Identification Spell inside his body via a magic plate.
Morbius got no choice but to use his Energy Stones for cultivation. The problem is how. With his body scan, he observed if changes occurred in his body while holding the stone. In this case, nothing. He controlled his consciousness all over until he reached the tip of his hand.
'Oh! That's neat.' Morbius exclaimed. He got excited when he could see the humungous stone using his consciousness. Everything is magnified in his vision when performing a body scan. If not, he could not see his cells at work. The stone at this state is so majestic. He is very puzzled why Belhams never excavated the good stuff from their backyard. It took him 4000 years of work to empty the stones. Fortunately, it is worth the effort.
Aside from being majestic, being magnified, he could see pore-like holes all over the surface of the stone. With his consciousness, he poked the stone and... BOOM!
White liquid-like energy entered every pore of his hands. From pores, it traversed through the veins and forcefully went to his energy source. Everything became dangerous from that point.
From a single stone, a tremendous amount of white energy filled his energy veins in an instant. His energy source is filled to the brim. He needed to sever the connection to prevent overloading his body with this energy. Even though he is like a sponge because of his unlocked physiology (awakened veins), when filled to the brim, the body loses its ability to withstand the pressure.
'Fuck! I could not sever the connection. I shouldn't have poked the beehive.' Morbius in his consciousness form gritted his virtual teeth. He could not stop the white energy penetrating his body. If push comes to shove, his body would explode.
'Shit, this leaves me no choice. If I let it be, I'll die anyway.'
Because of the overloading energy, he got no choice but to use it. Morbius gritted his teeth and halted his body scan. He is conscious, but he could still not sever the connection between the Energy stone and his body.
He focused all of the excess energies on his heart, gut, and brain areas. He also filled his kidneys and liver too. He poured energy into crucial areas believing that by doing so, he could instantaneously recover.
'Even if I die, at least my 4000 years of life did not end outside that castle walls. Well, technically I am outside that castle wall. Nevermind.'
After that, he led the energy to each cell of his body.
"Rejuvenate!" Morbius shouted as if it will be his last word before he dies.
Suddenly, his old body emitted a very bright light. Outside his windows, because it is late at night, the stream of light could be seen. It illuminated the street a bit garnering the curiosity of the people. They didn't mind though since such occurrence is quite normal. They thought that it must be an alchemist or apothecary playing with herbs.
Inside, if one could pause or slow the time by millions of times, it will look like Morbius's body is being disintegrated. It is so fast that in real-time, no one could see it disintegrating.
The guy is killing and reviving himself at a very fast pace. If cells could be depicted as humanoids, it is like they lived their life in a split picosecond. Morbius experienced death and life at the same time. Fortunately, the soul disperses slower than the body disintegrates and reconstructs. Every time it reconstructs he looks younger by a day and since the process is so fast, the de-aging is fast and visible in the naked eye. Fortunately, Morbius is alone, or else he would garner unwanted attention.
The Energy Stone in his hand dimmed until the blue shim faded to gray. He lost consciousness after. Fortunately, he completed his revival before depleting his energy completely. If his energy depleted while disintegrating, he will surely die (given that he is an immortal that could die by being killed).
The night ended silently. A loud snore could be heard. The clean house became a mess and due to countless cell destruction ashes messed up the floors.
All of these, Morbius is unaware of. In the middle of the wee hours, a young sleeping figure kept rolling on the floor. Nobody could disturb his long-deserved sleep.
