Keir now dismantled the idea of stopping the general while he led the army and instead decided to attack him when he is not moving.
Basically_ Keir is going to attack that general when he and his army are in the middle of clashing with the opponent's army.
He galloped his horse beside the vast army that was moving at an immense speed when looked close up. The fierceness of all the men was visible in the air.
His instincts told him that if he were to move even a step closer to that army he would be engulfed by them.
Keir maintained his distance while galloping his horse at full speed.
Soon he sensed another vast army approaching them.
The wedged-shaped army (Army A) closed with the incoming army (Army B), as the clash occurred Keir sensed a huge explosion happen between the men of the army. Those men roared out their voices while a few screamed and died.
The battle was gruesome. There were no rules, one would stab anywhere possible in the body of a man. Not caring about their life all they wanted was for the enemy side to be defeated, dead.
As time went by more screams were heard while many more men died by being stabbed through the skull, some amputated as another was beheaded by a sword. True gruesomeness was visible, men were soaked in blood and intestines of the enemy while large chunks of human organs were squashed by horses on that gore battlefield.
Those things barely affected Keir as he grew up in a forest and was used to gores similar to this as he cut animals very often for food.
He could no longer sense the ferocious presence of that general because the flow of the army was strong enough to move him way further from the general.
His warrior heart was dampened as he could no longer find the general anywhere. All he could see was a massive bloodbath named war, Keir however didn't just go back.
Another vast amount of cavalries(group of soldiers who fought while on horseback) was approaching him at a very fast rate from the 'B' side
In the previous clash, the cavalries got scattered all around and were mostly fighting individually.
Surprisingly the individual cavalries were doing the most damage to the 'B's side until the 'B' side revealed their own cavalries.
The wave of cavalry swept the battlefield at great speed while wiping out the soldiers from the 'A' side.
Keir's chest roared in excitement as he saw another general leading that vast number of cavalry. He immediately galloped his horse towards that general while swinging his sword at the scattered foot soldier(ordinary soldiers who do not specialize in any aspect other than numbers) beneath him.
His control over his horse was smooth and strong and his body was booming with strength as he approached that general.
As he reached that one general he sensed his odd presence. Something about that man was off, his presence was far weaker than the previous general and didn't have that ferocity in it as though it couldn't be compared to that of the ferocious general(from army A).
He headed straight for that general head-on with his sword held tightly. His body relaxed and his mind was present in that situation. There was nothing that could distract him from fighting that general.
Keir couldn't care less about the cavalries and the foot soldiers behind. All he cared about was fighting that man but how is he going to do that?
Keir closed in on that general (from army B) and summoned his warriors while he swung his sword at that general.
The general and the middle part of the army stopped in their path while the left and right parts of the wave just kept on moving.
The summoned warriors fought off the cavalries as they could take much more damage than ordinary humans and beasts hence buying more time for Keir to fight with that general.
Before Keir's sword could land on the general, he saw his sharp eyes one moment, and another the general was riding Keir's horse just behind him with the general's glaive piercing Keir's guts.
That man had teleported behind Keir before he could react and had stabbed him from behind piercing through his stomach while he simply watched his own guts fly out as the general pulled out his glaive. To Keir's surprise, even his tight armor fabric couldn't stop his guts from flying away and the armor that has been with him with all his fights couldn't stop that one strike.
His summoned warriors became liquid-ish gas and vanished into the air while Keir's vision started to vanish. He could feel his strength leaving his body and his grip on his sword slipping until his body dropped to the ground.
The general without wasting another second started rushing his army on moving forward even though they lost their speed and momentum because of Keir they didn't stop their march towards the bloodied battlefield.
The horses ran over his body. Heavy blunt hits fell on his body constantly, every time a hit would hit him in his body Keir would scream as an extreme surge of pain would pass through that point.
The number of horses was not a couple but hundreds.
His bones broke, muscles ripped off by simple yet heavy blunt strokes. It was unbearable for him as he cried out every time he was hurt.
"Stop! please stop this! it hurts it hurts it hurts!"
He screamed with all the pain all over his body.
His body was throbbing with sharp pain from the hard hooves of the horses hitting him with all the weight of the horse and the men riding the horses.
Kier protected his head with his hands covering his skull and tried his best not to go unconscious. If by any chance he were to go unconscious, he would be killed in that place.
He wriggled in agony until he found a corpse of a dead soldier on the ground. He covered himself with the bloodied corpse to protect himself from the stomping of the horses. He was almost relieved of all the hits but it was now hard for him to breathe with all the weight of the corpse.
Not much later, Keir went unconscious with the lack of oxygen with all the weight on his chest.
