"What are you saying?!!" Theodora gasped in shock. "I am not going to do that!" She almost shrieked in horror.
Gerald remained unwavered by her outburst. "Alright then. I will take Bertha with me. She even has a better knowledge about the flowers and good communication skills than you." He shrugged his shoulders.
But now that he thinks about it, it didn't seem a bad idea. Why he didn't think about it before asking Theodora?
His eyes shifted to see Bertha frowning in disapprovement. And Gerald realized that was why!
Bertha was too noble to do stealing or fool people. Besides, this adventure may take a left turn, and Gerald would be damned if Bertha got hurt because of him.
"So?" He again asked Theodora, who was still contemplating.
"Fine!"
He smiled in victory.
