Oblivious to Zerith's thoughts, Bertha answered, "She is fine. She is still asleep. Do you know how the little one kept her awake all night by kicking and moving in there?!"
Zerith loved how Bertha's face lit up whenever she talked about the baby. Theodora was only carrying the baby in her womb, but Bertha was living every moment and every emotion that the pregnancy brings into a woman's life.
She was so excited to see that baby as if she was the one delivering it.
Zerith wondered how many kids he would have with Bertha. However, he knew that she would be the best mother and an ideal wife. He already had a painting of his future family ready in his head.
He listened to her with a smile, nodding his head every time she looked at him.
A minute later, he spoke, "Gerald is now better too."
