"I told you! I told you that I don't want a child. I told you to be careful! Four months?
What the hell, Theodora? When were you going to tell me this? After the baby is born? I can't believe you think it is AMAZING!" Gerald was breathing hard as if he had run a marathon.
His chest pained as the whole world revolved around him.
"What's wrong in it, Gerald? Don't you want to marry me? This child will make things easier for us! Father would have no other choice than let us be together! What else do you want?" Theodora was angry too.
"It's not like you have to earn for this child. My father has left me with enough money to take care of it. All you need to do is be a good husband and a good father by always sticking by our side.
Can't you do this simple thing?" She glared at him, demanding answers.
But Gerald was in no position of giving any. He was ecstatic at the thought of having a child, but he didn't want it with Theodora but with Bertha.
