Theodora didn't realise when her hold on the dolphin loosened, and she was thrown toward the giant plants. The ride was too much for her, and she passed out.
When her senses slowly returned, she felt light pats on her cheek before a muffled voice reached her mind in a distorted form.
Her head was pounding in pain, and when she tried to move, her body pained too. Theodora forced her eyes open, but her vision was foggy. A blurred, faceless shape appeared in front of her.
"Theodora? Theodora? Wake up Theodora. Can you hear me?"
"G-Gerald?"
Gerald smiled in relief and nodded his head immediately. "I am here Theodora! Look."
She blinked a couple of times, and slowly her vision turned normal. She could see Gerald's face clearly.
"Gerald!" She instantly hugged him, happy to see him safe and near her.
"I thought I would never see you again." Her voice pained while saying that.
"We are safe! Don't worry." He assured her.
