Bertha entered Zerith's bedroom in the morning with his breakfast. He was already awake and sitting in bed. He still couldn't walk around on his own and couldn't put a strain on his chest.
But now he slept less and was in his all senses.
His face lit up with a bright smile as soon as he saw Bertha.
"Good morning Zerith!" She greeted him with the same smile as him.
She placed the plate in her hand down on the table before walking to the window. She opened the curtains and felt the morning slightly tingling her skin.
Zerith watched her closely. "Good morning!" He said absentmindedly.
His all attention was focused on her, her face, her smile. She turned around, and he instantly looked away, afraid she would catch him staring at her.
It would be inappropriate for him.
But Bertha already knew. She just chose not to point it out before she sat beside him on the bed.
