It had been three days since Gerald and Theodora had come back to Warthford Island. Gerald sneaked out in the night to meet Reznor and gave him the dragon scale of the Sun dragon that he had got on Nekaku Island.
Reznor advised him to stay on Warthford Island until the storm passed by. And after that, he had a piece of news that some of the portals were scheduled to change their positions.
If Gerald was stuck between the portals, there was no way for him to come back.
Reznor told him to leave only after getting a green signal from him. Until then, Gerald had to live on Warthford Island secretly.
That was not much of an issue because he got to live in such a big house that he had only dreamed to have once in his life. His days went by talking with Theodora and watching Bertha busy with the daily chores.
He took that time to sharpen his blades and study more about the next destinations he had to go to.
