However Kyuri wasn't just coming back, but he was also coming back with two other villages to start a tribal war so obviously Juri was in fact enraged by the turn of events.
When Juri spoke to Kyuri, he was introduced to the other village lords,
Taiki was the ruler of a medium sized village far to the west called Eris, this village until now had been on good terms with Asyria, this was the village Juri sent his two sons to train. When Taiki was introduced, he immediately got down from his horse and said
"Juri my good friend, as you know my village is into bargaining, so it shouldn't be a surprise to see me here, yes?"
Juri wasn't surprised in fact he had been expecting this, he and Taiki had been friends for a long time, so they knew each other very well.
"Taiki in your wildest dreams am I surprised to see you, I always knew your greedy eyes only followed money, so now you are expecting me to bribe you with something greater than Kyuri had promised? to hell with your bargaining, you greedy fool"
Sure enough Juri didn't hold back his words as he constantly insulted Taiki.
Taiki was now angry and was about to attack, but was held back by a woman who was addressed as Reo, Reo was Juri and Kyuri's younger sister and wanted nothing more than Asyria, she only joined Kyuri's plot after she was promised that
"Juri, how has it been?"
she asked as a grin appeared on her face
"my foolish little sister, in what hopes do you wish to challenge me, or have you forgotten who single handedly shortened your from two thousand men to a hundred and fifty, surely you jest?"
Reo's grin suddenly disappeared as Taiki and Kyuri looked at her, not only had she lost over a thousand men, but it was done by only on man, suddenly all the courage she had gathered to come here just vanished like air
Juri was at the moment feeling like god, he basically never expected things to go this way but still he was pleased.
After angering the other lords, Juri then apologized and took them into the village as his guests, though he was wary of them, he knew none of them was stupid enough to try anything, nonethless he still took them in and began discussions
"what brings all of you great lords to my humble abode" Juri asked after they had settled down.
Kyuri with impatience in his eyes then answered "you very well know why we are here, don't you?"
Juri knew the reason for their shortcomings, in fact it was a general problem that every village including his faced, but he still decided to joke about things
"perhaps you are here for a family reunion, Kyuri?" he asked,
Taiki on the other hand could no longer hold his tongue and decided to go right down to business
"enough Juri, we want Asyria" he shouted
Juri had known this was coming and was prepared
"Asyria?, what Asyria?" he asked with a smile
however, Reo too was now getting impatient as she said
"we are here to challenge you to a duel, just like you did to father, if any of us win, we take Asyria from you".
Juri was now serious after hearing what Reo said as he asked
"and if I don't accept?"
Kyuri then smiled wickedly and said
"I don't think you have a choice".
with that statement, three of Kyuri's men walked inside, each with a hostage and a knife on their throats.
Juri at this point was no longer smiling, and with a powerful burst of mana, he sent all of Kyuri's men flying, his anger was now directed at the people he once called his guests,
Taiki on the other hand, was frightened by the sight of what Juri did, he immediately noticed he was no match for Juri and decided to join him,
he quickly ran to Juri's side and said
"Kyuri! what is the meaning of the this? we came to bargain not fight"
